Skógarfoss

Skógarfoss is one of Icelands biggest waterfall with the width of 25 meters and 60 meters high, Skógarfoss is in the river Skógará.

Because of the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces a single or a double rainbow which are normally visible on sunny days.

Tales say that there are treasures and gold buried under the waterfall Skógarfoss. The treasures of Egill Skallgrímsson and Þrasi.
