Bolungarvík is the most northern village in the Westford’s, located on the edge of Isafjardardjup bay. The village is a traditional fishing port, one of the oldest in Iceland´s history. Bolungarvik is surrounded by large coastal mountains, making the view from the village truly spectacular. The village is a regular stop for bird-watchers, as the mountain cliffs and the village isolation create the perfect condition for rich bird life.
