World of DMC's

World of DMC's was founded in 2007 by a group of private DMC owners who wanted to create a non-profit grouping of DMC's that would have representation around the globe in order to refer clients to DMC companies who really understand their destinations with local expertise. The association now reaches over 107 countries globally and has created a network of DMC's which are all committed to the association’s standards of service excellence, transparency and a code of ethics.


Icelandair Group

Iceland Travel is a subsidiary to Icelandair Group, which owns and operates profitable and dynamic travel and transport companies delivering safe, reliable and convenient services. The company creates value for its customers, employees and shareholders by focusing on customer needs, efficient service delivery and unique and superior value propositions. Icelandair Group is listed on the NASDAQ OMX Iceland as ICEAIR, and has total of 12 independent subsidiaries focused on the airline and tourism sectors.


Japan Association of Travel Agents

Iceland Travel is an overseas allied member of Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA ). The association is sanctioned by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and based on the Travel Agency Law. JATA seeks to improve the quality of services provided to travelers to and from Japan. It contributes to the development of the travel and tourism industry through a variety of activities including disseminating information, encouraging cooperation among members, and promoting the development of businesses and legislation that will benefit the membership and the industry at large.


Cruise Iceland

Cruise Iceland was established in 2004 to combine the resources of all those involved in receiving cruise ships to help promote the island as an exciting destination. Today, 22 companies are members of Cruise Icleand including ten ports providing easy access to every area of the country.


Signature Travel Network

Signature Travel Network is a network of over 6,000 travel professionals who share one objective: to serve the unique needs of discerning travelers. Signature Travel Network is a co-operative of the travel industry's leading retail travel agencies with more than 320 office locations who serve thousands of clients from around the world. 


United States Tour Operators Association

Iceland Travel is a Supplier Member of USTOA, United States Tour Operators Association, which is a professional association representing the tour operator industry. The association is composed of companies whose tours and packages encompass the entire globe and who conduct business in the U.S.


The Icelandic Tourist Board

The Icelandic Tourist Board is a non-profit organization that promotes Iceland as a choice destination for travelers from all over the world. The Iceland Tourist Board operates in a supervisory role, providing licenses to all legitimate travel and tourism companies in Iceland.


Icelandic Travel Industry Association

The Icelandic Travel Industry Association (SAF) is the mutual venue of Icelandic companies operating in the field of travel and tourism. SAF endeavors to advance quality, safety and professionalism among its membership. It aims to inform its membership about consumer laws and insurance regulations in all the markets from which the travelers originate.


Iceland Convention & Incentive Bureau

The Iceland Convention & Incentive Bureau (IC&IB) is a non-profit marketing organization which has been active since 1992. Its role is to market convention facilities and incentives in Iceland at an international level. Total members today are 43. Since 1998 the Icelandic Tourist Board has been managing the Iceland Convention & Incentive Bureau.
