Iceland Travel´s Quality Assurance

Iceland Travel always strives to maintain and improve the standard of our service. Last summer, Iceland Travel conducted a survey amongst the passengers on our scheduled coach tours where they were asked to rate the services rendered to them on the tour on a scale from excellent to poor.

The questionnaires were  made in four languages: English, Italic, Spanish and French. Questions were wide ranging from general questions about Iceland to more specific about the tour, the guide and the coach as well as questions about tour guides, accommodation, meals and activities on the tour. The sample consisted of 1200 travelers in 60 different circle tours and in the end we received a total of 707 completed question lists.

The results are very useful and show what tour guides, hotels, restaurants, etc., all around the Iceland circle route, are performing best - according to our passengers. We will use this information when organising next year’s tours, making sure that relevant suppliers make necessary adjustments and perform according to our standards.

The purpose of this survey is simple; to improve the service quality we provide for our customers. This is an example of what makes Iceland Travel refreshingly different.

Our aim is to make this an annual event and expand our quality surveys gradually to our entire product portfolio. It will be of great advantage to Iceland Travel and our clients as the results will help us develop a stronger product and improve our tours and ensure the best possible service to our passengers at all times.
