Welcome Moment

Treat your group to a wonderful welcome in Iceland! The Welcome Moment can be done by the seaside, in a forest or a mysterious lava cave, the choice is yours.

We can greet your group with a glass of champagne and canapés, a shot of local schnapps and traditional delicacies, or a smoking volcano cocktail with spicy nibbles. A beautifully decorated table and women dressed in the Icelandic national costume complete the setting.

You can even add some music to the occasion such as with a violinist playing Icelandic folksongs or a male choir singing local favorites.

A welcome moment is guaranteed to set the right mood for your adventures in Iceland!

Viking Welcome Ceremony

A guide specialized in the old Nordic sagas and ceremonies will have the group take part in a old Viking ceremony that will bring the group closer together, give them a glimpse of the old world and have the nature forces of Iceland bless the journey.

“Treasure hunting”

Each group is given an avalanche receiver (and a snow shovel in winter). After a short explanation of how to use the receivers, teams will operate their receivers in search of a hidden treasure. Right beside each treasure is an avalanche transmitter sending signals to the receivers. It is important that the treasure hunters work effectively as a team in order to accomplish their mission in the shortest time possible.
