With crampons on our feet we take an easy walk up on the ice field, where a wonderland of ice sculptures, ridges and deep crevasses awaits discovery. We will teach you how to use basic glacier equipment. Ice climbing is not included in this tour. Read more

The Silver circle

The Silver circle

We drive to the “whale” fjord or Hvalfjordur where a three hours walk to Iceland’s highest waterfall, Glymur (198 metres high), awaits us. From there we head to Þingvellir National Park where we hike for 1 hour in what is considered Iceland’s greatest historical site and jewel of nature. After Þingvellir, we will continue with a scenic drive along lake Þingvallavatn to the Nesjavellir geothermal area. Read more
