Combine walking between hot springs and on top of an Icelandic glacier, in one day.
We start the tour by heading to the volcano Hengill. There we'll take a 2-3 hours walk in the surrounding geothermal area, dotted by beautiful hot springs and boiling mud pools.
In Reykjadalur valley, you can enjoy a bath in a naturally warm stream, so remmeber to take your swimming suit with you!
Afterwards we drive along the fertile farmlands of south Iceland towards Mýrdalsjökull glacier, the fourth largest in Iceland. We will pass through the region, which was affected by the infamous eruption of Spring 2010.
Once we reach the glacier tongue Solheimajokull, we will take a walk on the glacial field between ice sculptures, ridges and deep crevasses.
