Day 1 / Tuesday - Arrival

Day 2 / Wednesday - Geysir geothermal area
Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning at 08:15-09:00 am. Please be ready in the lobby. Start the day by driving to Þingvellir National Park (UNESCO), where the ancient parliament met for enturies on the shores of Iceland's largest lake. Continue through the farmlands to the thermal area of the great Geysir and Strokkur spouting hot springs. Last but not least visit Gullfoss, known as the "Golden Waterfall".
Dinner and overnight stay in Flúdir village.
Day 3 / Thursday - Waterfalls and black sand beaches
Drive along the beautiful south shore, passing Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls and the black glacial-outwash sands. An interesting stop is made at Skógar, with its beautiful collection of old turf farms and buildings that have been restored to their original state. Onwards to the impressive ice-wall of the Sólheimajökull glacier, and onwards to Reynisfjara beach, viewing the extraordinary rock formations and thundering waves of the Atlantic Ocean. On this day we also have the exciting experience of viewing the world famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano which rocked the world with an eruption that began in late March 2010.
Dinner and an overnight stay in the small village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.
Day 4 / Friday - Skaftafell National Park and the glacial lagoon
Skaftafell National Park is one of Iceland's most outstanding areas of natural beauty dominated by Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier. Continue to Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon to enjoy a breathtaking sight of floating icebergs on the fantastic 180m (600 foot) deep glacial lagoon.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 / Saturday - Canyon and the Blue Lagoon
Explore the magnificent Fjarðarárgljúfur canyon in the morning. Drive along the south coast, heading to the Blue Lagoon for a refreshing dip in the warm, mineral-rich waters.
Return to Reykjavík, where the evening is free to your inspiration.
Day 6 / Sunday - Departure
