Day 1 - Arrival Day

Arrival in Iceland. Transfer from the airport to Reykjavik not included. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

Check in at your hotel in Reykjavik City and get yourself comfortable for the next three nights stay.

If you arrive early you might have time for a half day or an evening excursion, so be sure to study our day tours selection and book ahead.

Reykjavik is only 30 minutes from some of Iceland’s most impressive natural attractions and exciting activities. This day is open to your inspiration whether it is to go riding on a Viking horse through a rugged lava field, bathing in geothermal waters or exploring the serious shopping scene of Reykjavik’s charming city streets. Day 2 - The Insider Experience

Reykjavik is a colorful walking city especially when you are accompanied by a private guide who is a connoisseur of the city and can cater the sites to your particular tastes. End this three-hour tour on a delicious note with a visit to a local café to sample some traditional Icelandic delicacies such as smoked salmon, freshly baked rye bread and smoked mountain lamb.

Day 3 - Culture is in Our Nature

With your Reykjavik Welcome Card you have access to several of the city's museums which are good choices if you want to spend a day enjoying the city's culture. For those looking for the ultimate local experience, the Reykjavik Welcome Card also provides access to the city's many outdoor geothermal heated swimming pools. This healthy activity is an important part of the Icelandic lifestyle. Most pools are open from early morning until late in the evening.

Day 4 - Energize before Departure

If your flight is in the afternoon, use those last moments to walk along the harbor on the sea- front and breathe in the fresh Atlantic breeze. While there you may want to stop by a local hot-spot, Iceland's most famous hot dog stand where people have been lining up for delectable, secret recipe "pylsur" (=Icelandic Hot Dog) for decades.
