Enjoy a private sightseeing tour around the city centre, taste Icelandic Christmas specialties and learn about the eccentric Yule Lads and the unique Christmas traditions in Iceland, as told by their frightful troll mother Gryla, well known for dragging off naughty children.

Day 1 - Arrival
Check-in at your hotel in Reykjavik city and get yourself comfortable for the next 3 nights stay.
Say 2 - "Let's Talk Christmas"
After lunch enjoy the benefits of a local guide that will show you privately around the city centre during a 3 hours walking tour.
The emphasis will be on Christmas in Iceland, but nevertheless your interest will control the tour, whether it is history, art and culture or shopping Christmas gifts for your loved ones.
DEPARTURE: at 1 p.m. (13:00) at the Tourist Information Centre, opposite Restaurant Reykjavik.
In the evening experience the spirit of Christmas, troll style, during a one hour unique comic show called "Let's talk Christmas".
Listen to tales of the 13 mischievous and eccentric Yule Lads told by their frightful troll mother, Grýla. She will interact with guests, along with sharing inside information about the strange Icelandic Christmas traditions.
The show starts at 8 p.m. (20:00) at Víkingakráin, Hafnarstraeti 1-3.
Duration is approx. 1 hour.
Day 3 - Free Day & Delicious Christmas Buffet
The day is yours to relax, either get out into the beautiful winter countryside taking part in one of the available day tours and activities or set off scouting for interesting museums and art galleries scattered around the city.
A visit to Iceland during the advent is not complete without tasting the specialties of the season, so tonight you will be treated to a delicious Christmas buffet at one of the classic restaurants in the city centre, namely Lækjarbrekka.
Christmas buffets originated in Denmark, but the Icelanders have taken the idea even further to make a sumptuous feast with emphasis on Iceland's fresh and tasty seafood, lamb, game and turkey.
