What is a Super Jeep / Super truck?

A Super Jeep/Super Truck is originally a standard truck/SUV or van that is modified according to strict regulations in Iceland. It is basically an especially equipped 4x4 vehicle with very large tires (36-46 inch or 95-120 cm tall) that is designed appositely to face Icelandic demanding terrains and unpredictable weather both in winter and summer.

In the map are highlighted in red and green the areas that could be explored. However the exact itinerary may vary from day to day without any notice according to weather and road conditions.

Departures:

Day 1 Arrival in Iceland.

Board the non-guided scheduled tour bus to the unique Blue Lagoon for a pleasant swim in the warm waters (bathing fee paid on the spot). Then continue onwards to Reykjavík City for an overnight stay.
Note: Bathing fee at the Blue Lagoon is not included in price.

ATTENTION passenger flying from North America:

• Passenger from North America are flying overnight and will therefore leave US the day before their arrival in Iceland. This means that if flying on February 15th, day 1 in this itinerary would be February 16th and so on.
• Also you will land at Keflavik airport early in the morning, you can then take the flybus to your hotel in Reykjavik (payable on the spot) for an early check-in and head back to the Blue Lagoon later in the day (included in the package). Day 2 Discover Nature in its primal form

Meet your Driver-Guide who will brief you on the day's excursion. Today you are an explorer as well as a traveller! You will either drive to the Reykjanes peninsula, boasting moonlike landscapes, dented coastline, lava fields, volcanoes and craters or to the south coast of Iceland and its black sand beaches, glaciers, waterfalls and mossy lava fields. The day ends at the charming country-hotel Hekla. There you can relax in one of the hot tubs beside the hotel, while admiring the Northern Lights dancing in the winter sky.

Day 3 Nature classics

Briefing before starting today's expedition. Visit Gullfoss waterfall, one of the most impressive in Iceland and the highly active Geysir geothermal area. Then head towards Lake Þingvallavatn (=Thingvallavatn) and Þingvellir National Park (Thingvellir). If time allows, we will enjoy some mountain adventure, crossing rivers and snow fields. Return to Reykjavik for an overnight stay.

Day 4 Departure
