Sigurður Hjartarson, born in 1941 is a curator and the founder of The Icelandic Phallological Museum.
The museum is probably the only museum in the world containing a collection of phallic specimens, belonging to all the various mammals found in a single country.
In the Phallological Museum you can find over 200 penises and penile parts belonging to all the land and sea mammals of Iceland. Everything from whale, polar bear, walrus, horse and seals penises. The museum has received legally certified gift tokens for 4 specimens belonging to Homo Sapiens.
