Reykjavik Lights

Opened in June 2013, Reykjavik Lights is a concept design hotel located 1 km from Laugardalur Family Park which serves as the capital's main sports area with a large open-air geothermal swimming pool, football stadium, botanical garden, family park and zoo. All guest rooms are individually decorated with artwork and inspiration from the ancient Icelandic calendar. Drinks can be enjoyed in the lounge bar, featuring decór inspired by the changing Icelandic light.

Reykjavik Lights offers 105 rooms decorated in Scandinavian style. Each room has a specific color palette referencing the ancient Icelandic calendar, in addition artwork demonstrating local tradition and experiences distinctive for the season decorate the walls. 

The rooms at Reykjavik Lights are equipped with amenities such as flat screen TV, radio and telephone. Furthermore Reykjavik Lights has complimentary WiFi, coffee and tea set, en-suite bathroom with walk in shower, hairdryer, toiletries, RB beds, writing desk and parquet floor in every room.

Reykjavik Lights´s guests have access to a complimentary car park next to the hotel. Breakfast is served between 07:00 - 10:00 and is included in the price. Guests can borrow iron and ironing board at the lobby where they also have access to guest computers. Reykjavik Lights has a bike rental and a conference room that can accommodate up to 10 people.
