Enjoy a unique and authentic experience away from the crowds as you linger in eight natural hot springs surrounded by majestic mountains and black beaches.
Hvammsvik Hot Springs sit right on the Atlantic Ocean, with water levels and temperatures of our natural pools fluctuating with the tides. Temperatures range from ocean temperatures (around 10°C/50°F) to 42°C/108°F.
When you visit Hvammsvik Hot Springs, you will feel both relaxed and invigorated. We promise you a unique experience in eight natural hot springs situated along the shoreline and merging with the ocean.
Area locals built Hvammsvik Hot Springs using rocks from the surroundings, in harmony with the nature and wildlife. An original barrack foundations built by Allied troops during World War II now houses the facilities.
Your admission includes unlimited access to all facilities.  Enjoy eight natural hot springs, the steam bath,  and free use of the paddle boards. Jump into the ocean, go for a hike in the surrounding areas, or simply chill on the black beach. We recommend that you try the outdoor changing rooms like the locals where you shower under the open sky.
After a soak in the hot springs, you might enjoy some of the delicious, light dishes at Hvammsvik’s Stormur Bistro and Bar. Stormur’s soups, sandwiches, and cakes are made from nourishing ingredients inspired by the surroundings.

Hvammsvik Hot Springs

Immerse yourself in the clearest water in the world and float between two continents in Iceland! A snorkeling adventure in the famous Silfra fissure is an unforgettable experience!
Snorkel where the astonishingly clear water reveals a mesmerizing underwater world full of colors you don’t see above the surface. Silfra is a fissure created by the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. A natural lava filtering process of the glacial water makes Silfra one of the world&#8217;s clearest bodies of water.
After you arrive at Silfra, your guide will give you your dry suit and snorkeling equipment and explain how to use it.
During your 30-40 minute snorkel you will explore Silfra&#8217;a four main areas. You will float through Big Crack, Silfra’s narrowest section where the continental plates are so close you can almost touch them. The fissure then widens into Silfra Hall. Here the full spectrum of Silfra’s colors and clarity become all the more apparent. At this point if you look at just the right angle you can see all the way to Lake Thingvallavatn in the distance. Near to the opening to Thingvellir lake you will enter the deeper waters of Silfra Cathedral. where you’ll feel like you are flying over the boulders and glacial silt. Your snorkel is finished in the endless visibility of Silfra Lagoon.
Make sure to drink some of the Silfra water while you are snorkeling! Who knows when you will be able to drink water so pure again?

Join our highly enthusiastic and experienced team in the search for whales, dolphins, and birds near Reykjavik.
Enjoy a magical journey into Faxafloi bay with our expert crew. Magnificent landscapes surround the area and add a unique contrast to the vast ocean.
You’ll search for whales under the excellent guidance of our marine biologist guides while learning about the incredible Icelandic wildlife. The bay is also full of birdlife that feed on the sea’s plentiful fish.
The most common whale species on our tours include minke whales, humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, and harbor porpoises. Occasionally we’ll see killer whales, fin whales, sei whales and long-finned pilot whales. One of our excellent naturalists will give a live commentary throughout the tour and notify you of any sightings as we go.
Start your tour with our Visitor Center, located on board a converted fishing vessel permanently placed by the pier. Stroll through our unique floating wildlife exhibition to learn more about the animals you might see. You’ll board the boat through the Visitor Center.
Our whale watching boat has  several outdoor viewing platforms, a heated indoor saloon with large viewing windows, a cafeteria where you can buy light refreshments, toilet facilities and a cloak room where you can borrow our blankets and overalls for the duration of the tour.

Sky Lagoon Pure Pass with Return Transfers

The Forest Lagoon (Skogarbod) is a new geothermal spa located in Vadlaskogur forest, just a few minutes&#8217; car drive from Akureyri. Icelanders call this beautiful town the &#8220;Capital of the North.&#8221;  It takes just 45 minutes to fly here from Reykjavik, or about a five-hour drive.
The Forest Lagoon’s 1.300 square-meter (13,993 sq ft) complex includes the Skogur Bistro, two infinity pools with two swim-up bars, a cold tub and a sauna. The facility can accommodate up to 200 visitors at a time. The Forest Baths are open seven days a week from 10:00 in the morning until midnight.
The pools use all-natural geothermal water from the mountain behind the Vadlaheidi forest. The hot spring water was discovered during a tunnel project. The spring was the inspiration for creating this beautiful forest retreat.
A complimentary bus provides transportation between the Hof Menningarhus and the Forest Lagoon according to the schedule <a href="https://www.forestlagoon.is/forestlagoon-bus">here</a> (subject to change).

Take the plane wreck shuttle and explore the famous Douglas DC-3 Airplane that crashed on the black sands of Sólheimasandur in November 1973.
Discover an important piece of Icelandic history on the black sands beach of Solheimasandur: a DC-3 airplane wreck. The plane wreck has become popular both with photographers and history buffs.
The Plane Wreck Shuttle service takes you 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) to the DC-3 wreckage in less than 15 minutes. Enjoy the harsh but beautiful landscape around the Airplane Wreck and the black sand beach close by before we pick you up again. Relax in the comfy shuttle as we transport you back to your vehicle. The Plane Wreck Shuttle follows a 30minute schedule every day from 10:00am, all year round as long as conditions allow.

On the Bonfire &amp; Fireworks tour, we’ll experience two Icelandic New Year’s Eve traditions. Celebrating New Year will begin with a Nordic bonfire, a tradition dating back to the Viking Age. The family-friendly atmosphere and the fire will warm us up as we sing along together, bid farewell to the old year and prepare to welcome in the new.
As midnight draws near, we’ll find a good spot to enjoy the second tradition: an Icelandic fireworks display like no other. In Iceland, everyone sets off fireworks at midnight all over the city. We’re not talking sparklers, we’re talking real, dazzling fireworks. From a carefully selected vantage point, we’ll get a view of the colorful explosions erupting all over the city, with a glass of sparkling delight in hand.

Enjoy a peaceful time at the Blue Lagoon, a unique natural pool of mineral rich geothermal water located in the middle of a lava field in the pure, beautiful Icelandic wilderness.
The Blue Lagoon is known for its special properties and its beneficial effects on the skin. The Blue Lagoon attracts visitors from all over the world in search of health, relaxation and an exotic experience.
Entrance to the Blue Lagoon must be booked in advance. Two bathing experience packages are available: The Comfort Package and the Premium Package.
In addition to bathing in the lagoon, guests have access to a sauna with a view of the lagoon, a steam-bath with white walls that resemble silica-mud and a cozy steam-bath carved into a lava cave. Guests can also stand beneath a small waterfall for an energizing massage. Of course, guests bathing in the milky waters of the Blue Lagoon have easy access to the famous white silica-mud, an essential part of the spa experience.
For those needing to store their luggage during their time at the Blue Lagoon, a special luggage storage facility is available next to the main parking area. There is a small fee to store the luggage.

Laugarvatn Fontana Geothermal Baths is in the center of the popular Golden Circle route. Discover a unique experience of the healing powers of the geothermal springs. Soak in a natural pool, listen to the bubbling hot spring in the steam rooms, or (for the adventurous), take a dip in the refreshing lake.
Since 1929, locals have been enjoying the healing powers of the natural steam baths by Lake Laugarvatn. Hot, healing steam simmers directly from the ground through grids in the cabin floors of the three traditional steam rooms. The temperature of the steam varies between 40°C (104°F) and 50°C (122°F). Grids in the floor of the steam rooms allow guests to hear and smell the boiling natural hot spring right underneath, creating a natural and unique experience.
Fontana’s pools, hot tub and Finnish sauna are perfect for relaxation. Completing the ensemble is the lake itself and the beach. Bathers can walk into the cool lake from a pier or walk on the warm black sand beach. Cold bathing is believed to have beneficial health effects.
The café at Laugarvatn Fontana offers a selection of healthy and locally produced delicacies and refreshments, including traditional steam-baked rye bread.

Explore the magnificent lava tunnel Raufarholshellir, one of the longest and best-known lava tubes in Iceland and located just 30 minutes from Reykjavik.
A journey into Raufarholshellir is a unique experience. It&#8217;s a great opportunity to witness the inner workings of a volcanic eruption. You&#8217;ll walk in the path of lava that flowed during the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred about 5200 years ago. Every winter spectacular ice sculptures form inside the entrance of the cave, making the experience of visiting the lava tunnel even more breathtaking.
The total length of the tunnel is an impressive 1360 m (4500 ft), the main tunnel being 900 m (3000 ft) long. The tunnel is up to 30 m (98 ft) wide with headroom up to 10 m (32 ft) high, making it one of the most expansive lava tunnels in Iceland.
Our  tour allows you to explore the tunnel in an easy and enjoyable manner. We built a footbridge.  Impressive lighting highlights the changing colors and clearly shows the powerful volcanic activity that formed the tunnel.
Your tour includes a guided caving tour in English, use of a helmet and headlamp. A return bus transfer to the cave can be added at the time of purchase. We do recommend you bring warm clothes and sturdy shoes. There is usually some water dripping from the ceiling, so wearing a water resistant or waterproof jacket/clothes is also a good idea.

Lava Tunnel Tour

Immerse yourself in the clearest water in the world and float between two continents in Iceland! A snorkeling adventure in the famous Silfra fissure is an unforgettable experience.
Snorkel in Silfra, where the astonishingly clear water reveals a mesmerizing underwater world full of colors you don’t see above the surface. Silfra is a fissure created by the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates cutting through Iceland. A natural lava filtering process of the glacial water makes Silfra one of the clearest bodies of water on earth.
After you arrive at Silfra, your guide will give you your dry suit and snorkeling equipment. Your snorkel guide will explain how to use this equipment and how to ensure that you will be warm and comfortable during your 30 to 40-minute snorkeling tour.
During your snorkel you will explore the four main parts of Silfra. You will float through Big Crack, Silfra’s narrowest section where the continental plates are so close you can almost touch them. The fissure then widens into Silfra Hall. Here the full spectrum of Silfra’s colors and clarity become all the more apparent. At this point if you look at just the right angle you can see all the way to Lake Thingvallavatn in the distance. Near to the opening to Thingvellir lake you will enter the deeper waters of Silfra Cathedral. where you’ll feel like you are flying over the boulders and glacial silt. Your snorkel is finished in the endless visibility of Silfra Lagoon.
Make sure to drink some of the Silfra water while you are snorkeling! Who knows when you will be able to drink water so pure again?

Enjoy a natural and historical treasure in the Golden Circle area: the peaceful and mystical Secret Lagoon hot spring pool.
We have kept the Secret Lagoon natural, simple, and unique for you so that you can get the true Icelandic experience.
The Secret Lagoon, known locally as Gamla Laugin, is the oldest swimming pool in Iceland. It was made in 1891 at Hveraholmi, a geothermal area near Fludir.
What makes our place special is the rich natural resources of warm water coming from hot springs. Vadmalahver, Basahver, and Litli Geysir (active geyser which spouts every few minutes, showing off for the guests), provide 100% of the water supply in the lagoon.  The pool water flows continuously, and it takes only 24 hours to its complete replacement. Warm, clean, and rich in sulfur, the water stays at 38-40°C (100 – 104°F) all year round.
There are several hot springs around the Secret Lagoon. A walking path is built around the pool so that you can safely watch the boiling, gushing springs of water from it. Modern changing rooms are located close to the pool. A bistro sells snacks, cold sandwiches and drinks.

A Zipline ride is a great adventure for all those who love the thrill of doing something challenging but at the same time very safe. 
The tour includes a hike through breathtaking river canyon and four Zipline rides. The scenery below you is breathtaking, and you will have a bird’s-eye view of it as you whiz down the Zipline.
Our Zipline course is situated near Vik, a South Iceland village surrounded by beautiful hills and valleys. After we meet you at our base, we will first drive for 5 minutes, then hike for another 5 minutes at a moderate pace to reach the take-off platform for the first Zip, Little Rush. We will give you detailed safety instructions and make sure you are comfortable with what to do during the Zipline. The next thing you know, you are zipping above the canyon, enjoying an exciting and amazing view of the area.
Our second Zipline, The Gentle Giant, is just around the corner. This is our longest ride; our guests often thing this is the prettiest one. Then we will take a short hike (about 10 minutes) through the amazing rock formation of Grafargil (Grave Canyon) to the next Zipline, the Leap of Faith. Finally, we’ll take the fourth Zipline, the Big Rush. It will take you over a stunning waterfall. To finish off the experience, we will take a short and scenic hike back to our base.

Glide along the smooth surface of Solheimajokull’s Glacier Lagoon during this easy kayaking tour. Bask in the beautiful nature around you as your expert guide leads you around this famous outlet glacier.
Leave the crowds behind and immerse in the beauty of a majestic outlet glacier while on a kayak. Before setting off to glide along the smooth waters of Solheimajokull glacier lagoon, you will meet your professional kayaking guide at the Solheimajokull Base Camp. There, you will be receive  a short safety briefing and get a dry suit and paddle.
The sit-on-top kayaks tare easy to steer, and you need no previous kayaking experience. As you push away from the shore, you will enter the world of an iceberg filled lagoon. The spellbinding glacial landscape and calm waters will make you feel like you are in another world. Your guide will lead you around the glacier. You&#8217;ll paddle between icebergs to admire these natural wonders from a perspective only visible from the water.
After a period of gliding along the still surface of the lagoon, you’ll head back to shore with a lifetime of memories.

Kayaking by Solheimajokull Glacier

Glacier Wonders is a superb but easy glacier hiking tour from Skaftafell into the magnificent ice-world of Falljokull glacier, a tongue of the mighty Vatnajokull glacier. You will learn how a living glacier moves and why this magical ice-kingdom is always changing.
Meet your certified and experienced glacier guide at Vatnajokull National Park. Then the excitement really begins!
Start with a drive towards Falljokull through stunningly spectacular scenery. Watch the soft vegetation around Skaftafell give way to the impressive mountain landscapes. The drive takes around 15 minutes; you’ll then hike for about 30 minutes up to Falljokull.  You&#8217;ll see stunning mountain glacier views every step of the way. Hvannadalshnukur, Iceland’s highest peak will tower high above you.
At Falljokull, you&#8217;ll strap on ice crampons for the magic moment – setting foot on the glacier! Depending on the conditions, you’ll spend about 1,5 hours on the glacier. Your guide will explain this unbelievably vibrant and living world to you. You will see incredible crevasses wending their way, twisting and turning through the glacier. These labyrinths are always forming, moving and changing in tune with the dance of nature. A glacier is never static, its gradual movement makes a glacier one of the most magnificent natural forces in the world.

Glacier Wonders – Glacier Hike in Skaftafell

Take a walk in one of Iceland’s most unique gardens: a beautiful collection of stones and minerals that show how Iceland was created. 
Geologically speaking, the East Fjords are one of the oldest areas in Iceland and have the most diverse rock variety. Local East Icelander, Petra Sveinsdottir, collected  this magnificent exhibit of rocks and minerals over a lifetime. She created a display in her house and garden. More than 90% of the minerals and semi-precious stones come from the surrounding Stodvarfjordur area.
Petra began building her mineral collection when she and her husband bought their house in 1946. Petra had a special talent when it came to locating a beautiful stone. Local people tell stories about how Petra would fine a magnificent mineral in a place where they just had been walking minutes before. Petra compared mineral collecting to hunting or fishing.
The museum is not only an interesting geological exhibit, it also will give you an insight into the local life of East Iceland through one of the area’s most unique residents.

Discover a genuine wellness wonder at GeoSea near the Arctic Circle.
The GeoSea sea baths enable you to enjoy nature in a unique manner. Thanks to the underground heat, the seawater in the baths is warm and comfortable, and the mineral-rich water will caress your skin. While the warm sea works its miracles, you can enjoy the view of the mountain range to the west, Skjalfandi Bay beneath the cliffs, and the Arctic Circle itself on the horizon. In the baths you can purchase beverages like beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
The changing rooms can accommodate up to 160 guests at a time. You may put your belongings and valuables into your locker or leave your valuables in the reception. All guests are asked to take a shower and wash thoroughly before entering the baths. Geosea provides soap, shampoo. and conditioner.
Guests can enjoy some refreshments in the modern yet welcoming dining area or on the terrace. The menu includes soups of the day, freshly baked bread and freshly baked rolls with vegetables or ham &amp; cheese. Throughout the day the restaurant offers hot and cold beverages, cakes and cookies, as well as beer and wine.

Unique Langjokull Glacier Tour 

Enter one of Iceland’s best ice caves in years and discover a unique crystal blue wonderland.
You&#8217;ll get up close and personal to incredible shades of icy blue while you walk into the depths of the mighty Vatnajokull glacier.
These astonishing blue glacial ice caves lie deep inside of glaciers. They form from the power of meltwater as it travels through a glacier&#8217;s crevasse channels. When the cold season comes, the caves that the water left behind freeze completely so that they become stable and safe to visit.
We pick you up at Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon in a SuperJeep and drive to the edge of the glacier where we gear up and get ready for the caving. After a short hike (approx. 20-30 minutes), we&#8217;ll arrive at the magnificent ice cave where you will have about 30-45 minutes (depending on conditions) to explore its wonders at your own pace.
After we have explored the cave, we will start making our way back to the location where you were picked up.

Crystal Ice Cave Tour from the Glacier Lagoon

Dive into this 2-hour exploration of Iceland’s black sand landscape in the south. You’ll also visit the DC3 Airplane wreck.
This tour kicks off after you meet your ATV guide at the ATV base near Myrdalsjokull glacier. You will receive all the necessary gear and a short safety briefing before venturing out  on ATVs to drive on Iceland’s iconic black beaches. Your guide will lead your group to the stunning coastline to witness breathtaking views of the surrounding area. You’ll marvel at the views of Dyrholaey, a peninsula that is the southernmost tip of the country, and the marvelous Myrdalsjokull glacier in the distance.
After leaving the beach, your group will head to the famous Solheimasandur plane wreck. This relic has been resting in the sand since 1973. After this, you will drive to the Jokulsa river and up the foot of the mountain. This action-packed tour ends when you arrive back to the base.

Landmannalaugar is a unique bubbling geothermal wonderland with caramel color peaks, soothing hot springs, rambling lava flows, and clear blue lakes.
This nature reserve is home to the Laugahraun lava fields, Mount Brennisteinsalda and Blahnjukur volcano, all forming a beautiful and colorful setting for a hike. Landmannalaugar sits in the Fjallabak Reserve in the remote Icelandic highlands. You can find some of the most stunning hiking trails in the country here.
Enjoy a scenic drive through the southern countryside on the way to Landmannalaugar. Your hiking adventure starts from Landmannalaugar&#8217;s main hut. The next four hours will showcase amazing scenery. Your route goes over Laugahraun lava field, through Vondugil canyon, and up multicolored Mt. Brennisteinsalda.
On the way down you’ll walk through the brilliantly green Graenagil. If time allows, your group will summit Blahnukur volcano. Afterwards, you can relax in the hot spring-fed natural pool in Landmannalaugar and enjoy the spectacular surroundings!

Looking for something off the typical tourist track? This is the tour for you! It’s time to jump in a Super Jeep, strap on your crampons and step into the mighty glaciers and ice caves of South Iceland.
Prepare for movie-like landscapes and jaw-dropping sights like nothing you&#8217;ve ever done before. We&#8217;ll hike out across a glacier, then visit an amazing blue and black ice cave.
Start with a scenic drive along Iceland’s southern coast. Your destination is Vik village, where you will meet your expert glacier hiking guide and board a SuperJeep. You’ll head into what seems like a rugged no man’s land. Enchanting glaciers and mountains surround you.
Your SuperJeep stops near the otherworldly Kotlujokull glacier. It’s time to put on your crampons and helmet and take a short walk to the opening of the ice cave. Depending on conditions, you might need to climb a few steps on ladders to the ice cave entrance. The climb is not difficult for anyone in reasonable physical shape.
Beautiful layers of different colored ice and volcanic ash unfold from the ice, painting impressive stripes in the glacier. Your guide will tell you all about the history of the glacier, the ice cave and the area.
When you are back out from the glacier, your group will walk around and see if any smaller ice caves are accessible. The drive back to Vik is an amazing one. During wintertime, the sun sets behind the mountains, creating a magical wintery view.
On the way from/to Reykjavik) your tour will visit the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall. When the length of the daylight allows it (1 February – 15 November), you’ll also visit the picture-perfect Skogafoss waterfall.

The Ice Cave Under The Volcano

Most of our guests are beginners, so we know how to provide an experience that’s as safe as it is fun. Just beyond Reykjavik lies a stunning and dramatic natural playground, the perfect setting for your quad bike fun. Your quad bike tour takes you on a route along the lovely Lake Hafravatn and a variety of fun terrains you can enjoy. Then it’s onwards and upwards as you bike to the top of Hafrafell mountain – the high point of your journey! From there you should be able to see the Hengill mountain range, Iceland’s third most active volcanic system, together with Hellisheidi geothermal power plant. You’ll also get a spectacular view over Faxafloi bay, the whole capital region, Blafjoll mountain range and Esja, Reykjavik’s “house” mountain.

From Gullfoss waterfall a glorious canyon descends down and creates the ideal rafting conditions. The Hvita river originates from Langjokull glacier and has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. On this beautiful rafting journey, you’ll raft down 7 kilometers (4.3 miles). You&#8217;ll enjoy a view you can only encounter while floating downstream.
You don&#8217;t need to worry about the cold water. We provide a wetsuit to make the experience enjoyable, as well as a lifejacket to keep you afloat. You need no previous rafting experience. In fact, this rafting trip is for everyone who fancies a little adventure.
If you want, you can take a refreshing leap from the Bruarhlod cliffs into the glacial waters of the canyon &#8211; it&#8217;s a fitting end to an incredible river rafting adventure.
Rafting the river takes between 60 and 90 minutes. Afterwards, you have time to relax in the Drumbo sauna. We recommend adding a delicious BBQ lamb or hamburger dinner to your booking for you to enjoy at the base restaurant.

River Fun Rafting with Reykjavik transfers

There is something so otherworldly about Snaefellsnes that Icelanders often associate it with spiritual experiences and folk tales. This tour provides spectacular views of this unique area where geological wonders border on the magical.
The Snaefellsnes peninsula in the West of Iceland is almost like a miniature version of the entire island. The area has beautiful samples of most of the natural landscapes that make Iceland so famous. This includes black beaches, magnificent mountains, volcanic craters, incredible birdlife, magical caves, and of course, the most picturesque glacier of them all, Snaefellsjokull. Start your day by exploring the Icelandic volcanic landscape. Visit the Seltun boiling mud pools and its steaming and colorful surroundings.
As we drive along the Reykjanes peninsula, you will experience the roaring Atlantic Ocean, endless lava fields, and volcanic craters. It surely is an alien landscape, decorated by petrified “troll” formations.

This best-selling tour of Iceland&#8217;s most famous landmarks includes a visit to Fridheimar greenhouse.  It&#8217;s the classic Golden Circle with a sustainable twist!
The tour starts with a visit to Fridheimar greenhouse where you will learn about the magical methods of managing pests by using biological methods. Also, you will also learn how to grow delicious tomatoes in an eco-friendly way using geothermal heat, which Iceland has in abundance.
After Fridheimar, your group will stop at Geysir geothermal area. The Strokkur geyser shoots a column of water up to 30 meters (98 ft.) into the air every 4-8 minutes in a thrilling display of nature’s forces.

See the glory of the northern lights in Iceland! When you choose a guided tour,  you increase your chances of seeing the northern lights. Each day our team of experts reviews and studies the weather, locations and aurora forecast. Based on this information, we decide if the conditions are good for northern lights. If yes, our experts decide on the best place to go; it is often a different location each night.
During the tour your guide will tell you about the auroras and will give you some basic information about how to take pictures of northern lights. You will have plenty of time to take photos outside, so it is important that you dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes.
You will also experience Icelandic nature during the night, the Milky Way, stars, the moon, and clouds.
The tour is weather dependent, and sightings are not guaranteed. If you don’t see any northern lights during this tour, we cannot issue a refund. However, you will be invited to join the tour again, free of charge.

Northern Lights Tour

Join us as we head west on a full day magical mystical tour to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and surroundings.
Countless lunar landscapes and volcanic vistas lie in store as we drive west out of Reykjavik. We&#8217;ll head towards the magnificent Snaefellsjokull glacier. The glacier sits atop the active stratovolcano that took center stage in the Jules Verne sci fi novel, Journey to the Centre of the Earth.
Our first stop will be Ytri-Tung farm, which is next to a beautiful beach. Here, huge seal colonies lounge on the beach, and your guide will lead you to a viewing point.
Afterwards, we head to our favorite farm in the peninsula, where an amazing home-cooked meal waits for us.
Next, we&#8217;lll visit Budarkirkja, which is the historical black church in the hamlet of Budir. This is one of the few black churches in the country. The builders painted it with pitch in order to protect the wood from the harsh climatic conditions.
The dramatic coast of Arnarstapi is waiting for us next. Powerful waves are constantly eroding the cliffs and leave impressive rock formations behind. Also, we&#8217;ll visit the black sand beach of Djupalonssandur,  where we can see the remains of a 1948 shipwreck.
Naturally, we will stop to admire Kirkjufell, probably the most-photographed mountain in the country. Surrounded by streams and small waterfalls, it was a filming location for Game of Thrones.
Our last stop will be Bersekjahraun lava fields. Created around 4.000 years ago, the lava fields are extremely thick and decorated with beautiful rock formations.

Snaefellsnes Minibus Tour – Small Group Tour

Your day starts by heading straight out of Reykjavik, driving over Hellisheidi mountain pass before heading inland to the Golden Circle area. Our first stop will be to warm up and soak in the natural hot springs of the Secret Lagoon. We intentionally arrive at the hot pool in the morning when it is quietest. This is Iceland’s oldest natural swimming pool, built around a small bubbling geyser over 100 years ago.
Next, we drive to the nearby village of Reykholt. You’ll enjoy a unique lunch inside a  tomato greenhouse farm. You can choose either their famous tomato soup, ravioli pasta, or grilled tortilla pizza. Delicious homemade bread is also included.
After lunch, we get to witness the force of Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls. On sunny days, rainbows appear in the mist of this golden hued waterfall.
From there, it is only a short drive to see the wonders of the geothermal area of Geysir, the original exploding geyser, and its surrounding steam vents. The most active geyser in the area, Strokkur, erupts every 6-10 minutes.
Finally, after all this we drive onto the famous Thingvellir National Park. The National Park holds both a historical and geological significance.  Additionally, it is also a place of incredible beauty, sitting in the rift valley of the separating North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. We will explore this area enjoying easy walks and great views. From there, it’s just a short drive back into town.

Krauma has a total of six baths, five warm and one cold. To maximize your experience, you enjoy the relaxation room located in the bathing area. In the room you can lie or sit down and relax to soothing music and a crackling fireplace.
No extra chemicals are needed to keep the pools clean, as the water is constantly being replaced because of the rapid natural flow rate of the hot springs.

Into the Glacier – Classic Tour (from Husafell)

New Year’s Eve in Reykjavík is celebrated with fireworks and bonfires, The locals gather around the several bonfires dispersed all over the city, celebrating and singing. Enjoy this great tour which allows you to experience the celebration with the Icelanders. It’s a spectacular sight not to be missed when in Iceland!
We will stop at one of the biggest bonfires in the capital area. The bonfire starts at 20:30 (8:30pm), followed by a preview fireworks display around 21:10 (9:10pm).
After the bonfire we will take a short drive around the city and learn about the Icelandic traditions on New Year’s Eve.
Your tour ends around 22.30 (10:30pm), but make sure you stay awake until around midnight, as that&#8217;s when we Icelanders go out to the streets with our fireworks. You might experience a great display of lights and sparkles high up in the city sky!

Glacial Adventure

On this sightseeing tour, we make sure that you land off the beaten track and away from the crowds to witness Iceland’s raw geothermal energy first-hand.
We start with a flight over one of the most active volcanic areas in Iceland, the Hellisheidi plateau. You’ll see moss covered lava fields stretched out to the horizon, interspersed with colorful basalt mountains, steaming hot springs and the very geothermal power plants that supply Reykjavik with its renewable energy.
The helicopter will land in the Hengill geothermal area, named after the Hengill volcano. You can view first-hand the untouched Icelandic nature. We’ll bring you close to hot springs and boiling mud pots, and you might even see some sheep wandering around the valley in the summer. No matter the season or time of year, this area always has magical, colorful, and beautiful views.
Please note that is not a regular tourist site, there are no safety ropes  and infrastructure – you’ll experience the site just how nature created it.

The last stop is Geysir geothermal area. The Great Geysir doesn’t erupt often, but it is surrounded by bubbling cauldrons of superheated mud and steaming pools. The FlyBus is an airport shuttle that will take you from Keflavik International Airport to Reykjavik city and vice versa. It is connected to all arriving and departing flights and seats are always guaranteed.
When landing in Iceland:

<li>The coaches used for this transfer are parked outside the arrival hall at the airport and are marked “FlyBus”.The FlyBus will ultimately stop at BSI bus terminal.</li>
<li>There is no fixed schedule for FlyBus from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik City Center. They depart approximately 30-40 minutes after each arriving flight.</li>
<li>If your flight is delayed, FlyBus will wait for you.</li>
<li>If you bought the “Plus” tickets, you will then be redirected to smaller shuttles that will take you to your accommodation. To avoid any confusion, please let the bus-driver know your hotel’s name when boarding the FlyBus in Keflavik.</li>

Adventurous South Iceland

The Glacier Lagoon of Iceland is a sight you absolutely cannot miss, with its enormous and ancient icebergs breaking off from Vatnajokull glacier.
The lagoon produces a feeling of incredible tranquility as the 1000-1500 year old ice silently drifts into the lake and slowly melts away. The lagoon covers 18 square kilometers (7 square miles) and reaches more than 248 meters (814 ft) at its deepest point. You may recognize the lagoon from movies like Batman Begins, Tomb Raider, and two James Bond movies.
