This horseback riding tour is a perfect way to experience the versatility of Icelandic nature in only 2 hours. This tour is ideal both for beginners and more experienced riders; we have horses for all experience levels.
Our friendly horses and specially trained guides will take you on a ride on excellent riding paths where you can experience the unique Icelandic horse breed while enjoying beautiful scenery full of lava fields and beautiful nature.
When possible we organize the groups according to riding ability to ensure everyone gets the experience and adventure they want. The slow group will mostly do the walk and the faster group will ride at a faster pace. We recommend that children under the age of 12 stay in the slower group with their guardians unless they are used to riding horses.
When we arrive back at the stables you can enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.  Feel free to ask our staff any questions about the Icelandic horse breed.
We take pride in our personal service and limit group sizes to 20 or less to ensure a safe and enjoyable tour. Our stables are located a short 20-minute drive from Reykjavík’s city center.

When landing in Iceland:
When you arrive at Keflavik Airport you’ll find the desk just outside the arrivals hall, and the buses are situated right in front of the airport. Couldn’t be easier! You‘ll be taken to the Reykjavik terminal where you&#8217;ll board a SmartBus that takes you to your hotel or nearest City Tour Bus Stop. This one-way transfer from Keflavik Airport to our Reykjavík Terminal takes approximately 50 minutes with additional 30 minutes drop off time.
When departing Iceland:
You will be picked up by SmartBus 30 minutes before the departure from Reykjavik, then you will change to an Airport Direct bus at the Reykjavik Terminal, that will take you straight to the airport with one stop at Hamraborg along the way.
The transfer from Reykjavik Terminal to Keflavik Airport takes approximately 50 minutes with additional 30 minutes pick up time.

Airport Direct Economy with Hotel Connection: Reykjavik to/from Keflavik airport

Imagine encountering whales and puffins in wild nature. Enjoy this boat trip from the famous whale watching town Husavik by Skjalfandi Bay, in the north of Iceland.
With our RIB speedboats we can offer you more area to cover in search for whales, the gentle giants of the sea. A RIB boat is faster than the wind, so it is more likely for us to find the big whales. Normally we do not have to leave our bay to see whales, but this tour focuses on finding the bigger ones further out. Nothing is guaranteed, but your chances to encounter some of the world&#8217;s biggest animals increases.
After you put on warm safety overall and a life vest, step aboard a modern RIB speedboat and head out to the beautiful surroundings of Skjalfandi Bay. Your specialized wildlife guide will demonstrate the safety on board and give you live commentary on the sights encountered throughout the tour.
Your first visit is Puffin Island during the nesting period (April 15th – August 20th approximately) where you can observe thousands of colorful puffins, often called the &#8220;Clowns of the Ocean&#8221;.
After a short pit stop by the island, your journey continues into the deeper waters of Skjalfandi Bay to look  for whales. Watching whales in a respectful way in their wild natural environment from a RIB speedboat is a unique experience.

Enjoy a peaceful time at the Blue Lagoon, an incredible geothermal spa in Iceland, set in an otherworldly area where lava and thermal water meet. 
Take a convenient unguided transfer from Reykjavík to the Blue Lagoon.  The Blue Lagoon’s warm geothermal water and natural active ingredients; mineral salts, silica and blue green algae help you relax and unwind while the lagoon’s distinctive white silica mud gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin. The mineral salts balance and relax body and soul.
This service includes transfers both to and from the Blue Lagoon. After bathing in the Blue Lagoon, take the next available bus back to Reykjavík or to Keflavík airport.
Wondering what to do with your luggage while relaxing at the Blue Lagoon? Don&#8217;t worry, you can store your luggage in a special luggage storage facility next to the main parking area for a small charge.
The transfer from Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon takes approx. 40 minutes, while the drive from the Blue Lagoon to Keflavík International Airport takes ca. 20 minutes.

Older than human imagination can fathom, she symbolises the wisdom and enchantment of Iceland. Sú Vitra leads you through three different acts. First, you’ll feel the power of the land as the strong and often violent forces of nature take shape. Next is the arrival of man and the introduction of “Þetta Reddast.&#8221; Finally, you’ll discover how Icelandic people have made a life on this island. Life continues, no matter what.

FlyOver Iceland

Discover a unique experience of the healing powers of the geothermal springs. Soak in a natural pool, listen to the bubbling hot spring in the steam rooms, or (for the adventurous), take a dip in the refreshing lake.
Since 1929, locals have been enjoying the healing powers of the natural steam baths by Lake Laugarvatn. Hot, healing steam simmers directly from the ground through grids in the cabin floors of the three traditional steam rooms. The temperature of the steam varies between 40°C (104°F) and 50°C (122°F). Grids in the floor of the steam rooms allow you to hear and smell the boiling natural hot spring right underneath, creating a natural and unique experience.
Next to the steam rooms is Ylur, a Finnish-style sauna. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful lake view through the large window.  Three connected outdoor mineral baths vary in depth, size and temperature.  A hot tub built at a slightly higher level offers a panoramic view of the beautiful surroundings.
Completing the ensemble is the lake itself and the beach. You can walk into the cool lake from a pier or walk on the warm black sand beach. Cold bathing has beneficial health effects.
The café at Laugarvatn Fontana offers a selection of healthy and locally produced delicacies and refreshments, including traditional steam-baked rye bread.

Glacial Adventure

Your day starts by heading straight out of Reykjavík, driving over Hellisheiði mountain pass before heading inland to the Golden Circle area. Our first stop will be to warm up and soak in the natural hot springs of the Secret Lagoon. We intentionally arrive at the hot pool in the morning when it is quietest. This is Iceland’s oldest natural swimming pool, built around a small bubbling geyser over 100 years ago.
Next, we drive to the nearby village of Reykholt. You’ll enjoy a unique lunch inside a tomato greenhouse farm. You can choose either their famous tomato soup, ravioli pasta, or grilled tortilla pizza. Delicious homemade bread is also included.
After lunch, we get to witness the force of Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls. On sunny days, rainbows appear in the mist of this golden hued waterfall.
From there, it is only a short drive to see the wonders of the geothermal area of Geysir, the original exploding geyser, and its surrounding steam vents. The most active geyser in the area, Strokkur, erupts every 6-10 minutes.
Finally, after all this we drive onto the famous Þingvellir National Park. The national park holds both historical and geological significance.  Additionally, it is also a place of incredible beauty, sitting in the rift valley of the separating North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. We will explore this area enjoying easy walks and great views. From there, it’s just a short drive back into town.

Golden Circle – Platinum Tour

The Icelandic Golden Circle is classic for a good reason. This Golden Circle tour combines history, culture, and extraordinary nature to make your day unforgettable.
Take a wondrous journey through the Golden Circle, where you&#8217;ll visit iconic sites.  Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal area and Gullfoss Waterfall have their own stories to tell. You’ll have a day full of memories you won&#8217;t forget.
The first stop during the Golden Circle tour is Thingvellir National Park, which is is located in a rift valley where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. Additionally, Thingvellir is the birthplace of the Althing, Iceland’s parliament founded in 930 AD. Here, the nation’s most powerful leaders would meet to decide on legislation and carry out brutal Viking-age justice.
Next, visit Gullfoss (Golden Falls). Gullfoss waterfall gets its name from the golden color of its water as it churns up silt and sediment. The magnificent waterfalls lie in the Hvita river and originate from Langjokull, Iceland’s second-largest glacier.
The last stop is Geysir geothermal area. The Great Geysir doesn’t erupt often, but it is surrounded by bubbling cauldrons of superheated mud and steaming pools. Also, you&#8217;ll see Strokkur, a geyser that erupts every 6-10 minutes. The smells, colors, and eruptions are a window into all the geothermal activity happening beneath Iceland.

Looking for something off the typical tourist track? This is the tour for you! It’s time to jump in a Super Jeep, strap on your crampons and step into the mighty glaciers and ice caves of South Iceland.
Prepare for movie-like landscapes and jaw-dropping sights like nothing you&#8217;ve ever done before. We&#8217;ll hike out across a glacier, then visit an amazing blue and black ice cave.
Your adventure starts in Vik village, where you will meet your expert glacier hiking guide and board a SuperJeep. You’ll head into what seems like a rugged no man’s land. Enchanting glaciers and mountains surround you.
Your SuperJeep stops near the otherworldly Kotlujokull glacier. It’s time to put on your crampons and helmet and take a short walk to the opening of the ice cave. Depending on conditions, you might need to climb a few steps on ladders to the ice cave entrance. The climb is not difficult for anyone in reasonable physical shape.
Beautiful layers of different colored ice and volcanic ash unfold from the ice, painting impressive stripes in the glacier. Your guide will tell you all about the history of the glacier, the ice cave and the area.
When you are back out from the glacier, your group will walk around and see if any smaller ice caves are accessible. The drive back to Vik is an amazing one. During wintertime, the sun sets behind the mountains, creating a magical wintery view.

Experience incredible views as you pass through the fertile farming lands and small villages of south Iceland, an area rich in Viking history and heritage, watched over by the infamous Eyjafjallajökull and Hekla volcanoes.
The next step on your journey is a giant step for those that have never set foot on a glacier. Hear the ancient ice crack as you safely enjoy your hike on the glacier tongue with our certified glacier guide. The hiking part of the tour is about 2 hours, with 1-1.5 hours spent on the glistening glacier.
After the thrill of the glacier, you’ll head for Reynisfjara, where you can stroll along the black sand beach known for its famous basalt columns and caverns. Witness the Reynisdrangar cliffs and basalt rock stacks that rise from the sea.
End this incredible day tour by stopping at the majestic Skogafoss Waterfall. Walk right up to the thundering waterfall and feel the spray on your face. You can even walk up the 527 steps for a bird’s eye view of cascading water and rainbows.

The sheer force of nature carved one of the outlet glaciers from Vatnajokull ice cap, Iceland’s largest and Europe’s most voluminous glacier. It also formed Jokulsarlon and the Diamond Beach. The beach’s black-velvet-textured sand is scattered with big and small blocks of ice. The Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon appeared in the 1970s and has become a symbol of Iceland’s pure and ever-changing nature. We will also check out the neighboring and quieter Fjallsarlon lagoon.

Immerse yourself in the clearest water in the world and float between two continents in Iceland! A snorkelling adventure in the famous Silfra fissure is an unforgettable experience!
Snorkel where the astonishingly clear water reveals a mesmerizing underwater world full of colors you don’t see above the surface. Silfra is a fissure created by the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. A natural lava filtering process of the glacial water makes Silfra one of the world&#8217;s clearest bodies of water.
After you arrive at Silfra, your guide will give you your dry suit and snorkeling equipment and explain how to use it.
During your 30-40 minute snorkel you will explore Silfra&#8217;a four main areas. You will float through Big Crack, Silfra’s narrowest section, where the continental plates are so close you can almost touch them. The fissure then widens into Silfra Hall. Here the full spectrum of Silfra’s colours and clarity become all the more apparent. At this point, if you look at just the right angle you can see all the way to Lake Þingvallavatn in the distance. Near to the opening to Þingvellir lake you will enter the deeper waters of Silfra Cathedral. where you’ll feel like you are flying over the boulders and glacial silt. Your snorkel finishes in the endless visibility of Silfra Lagoon.

The most common whale species on our tours include minke whales, humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, and harbour porpoises. Occasionally we’ll see killer whales, fin whales, sei whales and long-finned pilot whales. One of our excellent naturalists will give a live commentary throughout the tour and notify you of any sightings as we go.
Start your tour with our Visitor Centre, located on board a converted fishing vessel permanently placed by the pier. Stroll through our unique floating wildlife exhibition to learn more about the animals you might see. You’ll board the boat through the Visitor Centre.  You can stay outside in the fresh air but you are also welcome to settle inside the heated lounge and observe from within.

The Forest Lagoon (Skogarbod) is a geothermal spa located in Vadlaskogur forest, just a few minutes&#8217; car drive from Akureyri. Icelanders call this beautiful town the &#8220;Capital of the North.&#8221;  It takes just 45 minutes to fly here from Reykjavik, or about a five-hour drive.  With views overlooking one of Iceland&#8217;s longest fjords, Eyjafjordur, the spa&#8217;s unique location surrounded by birch and pine trees truly sets it apart.
The Forest Lagoon’s 1.300 square-meter (13,993 sq ft) complex includes the Forest Bistro, two infinity pools with two swim-up bars, a cold tub and a Finnish dry sauna. Next to the sauna is a cold pool, and it is wonderful to enjoy the health benefits that combining these experiences can bring.  The cold pool temperature is 11°C (52°F).
The pools use all-natural geothermal water from the mountain behind the Vadlaheidi forest. The hot spring water was discovered during a tunnel project. The spring was the inspiration for creating this beautiful forest retreat.
An important part of the experience at the Forest Lagoon is dining at Forest Bistro. If you enjoy quality food in an exotic environment, the wood-cladded bistro area is something you will not want to miss.

From a carefully selected vantage point, we’ll get a view of the colorful explosions erupting all over the city, with a glass of sparkling delight in hand.

Enjoy a peaceful time at the Blue Lagoon, a unique natural pool of mineral rich geothermal water located in the middle of a lava field in the pure, beautiful Icelandic wilderness.
The Blue Lagoon is famous for its special properties and its beneficial effects on the skin. The Blue Lagoon attracts visitors from all over the world in search of health, relaxation, and an exotic experience.
In addition to bathing in the lagoon, you will have access to a sauna with a view of the lagoon, a steam-bath with white walls that resemble silica-mud and a cosy steam-bath carved into a lava cave. You can also stand beneath a small waterfall for an energizing massage. Of course,  bathing in the milky waters means you&#8217;ll have easy access to the famous white silica-mud, an essential part of the spa experience.
If you need to store your luggage during their time at the lagoon, a special luggage storage facility is available next to the main parking area. There is a small fee to store the luggage.

Explore the magnificent lava tunnel Raufarhólshellir, one of the longest and best-known lava tubes in Iceland and located just 30 minutes from Reykjavík.
A journey into Raufarhólshellir is a unique experience. It&#8217;s a great opportunity to witness the inner workings of a volcanic eruption. You&#8217;ll walk in the path of lava that flowed during the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred about 5200 years ago. Every winter spectacular ice sculptures form inside the entrance of the cave, making the experience of visiting the lava tunnel even more breathtaking.
The total length of the tunnel is an impressive 1360 m (4500 ft), the main tunnel being 900 m (3000 ft) long. The tunnel is up to 30 m (98 ft) wide with headroom up to 10 m (32 ft) high, making it one of the most expansive lava tunnels in Iceland.
We built a footbridge so that you can explore the tunnel in an easy and enjoyable manner. Impressive lighting highlights the changing colours and clearly shows the powerful volcanic activity that formed the tunnel.
Your tour includes a guided caving tour in English and use of a helmet and headlamp. A return bus transfer to the cave can be added at the time of purchase. We do recommend you bring warm clothes and sturdy shoes. There is usually some water dripping from the ceiling, so wearing a water resistant or waterproof jacket/clothes is also a good idea.

Lava Tunnel Tour – Caving

Immerse yourself in the clearest water in the world and float between two continents in Iceland! A snorkelling adventure in the famous Silfra fissure is an unforgettable experience.
Snorkel in Silfra, where the astonishingly clear water reveals a mesmerizing underwater world full of colors you don’t see above the surface. Silfra is a fissure created by the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates cutting through Iceland. A natural lava filtering process of the glacial water makes Silfra one of the clearest bodies of water on earth.
After you arrive at Silfra, your guide will give you your dry suit and snorkeling equipment. Your snorkel guide will explain how to use this equipment and how to ensure that you will be warm and comfortable during your 30 to 40-minute snorkeling tour.
During your snorkel you will explore the four main parts of Silfra. You will float through Big Crack, Silfra’s narrowest section where the continental plates are so close you can almost touch them. The fissure then widens into Silfra Hall. Here the full spectrum of Silfra’s colors and clarity become all the more apparent. At this point if you look at just the right angle you can see all the way to Lake Þingvallavatn in the distance. Near to the opening to Þingvellir lake you will enter the deeper waters of Silfra Cathedral. where you’ll feel like you are flying over the boulders and glacial silt. Your snorkel is finished in the endless visibility of Silfra Lagoon.
Make sure to drink some of the Silfra water while you are snorkeling! Who knows when you will be able to drink water so pure again?

Enjoy a natural and historical treasure in the Golden Circle area: the peaceful and mystical Secret Lagoon hot spring pool.
We have kept the Secret Lagoon natural, simple, and unique for you so that you can get the true Icelandic experience. The Secret Lagoon, known locally as &#8220;Gamla Laugin&#8221;, is the oldest swimming pool in Iceland. Local residents built it in 1891 at Hverahólmi, a geothermal area near Flúðir village.
What makes the lagoon special is the rich natural resources of warm water coming from the hot springs. Vaðmálahver, Básahver, and Litli Geysir (an active geyser which spouts every few minutes for the guests), provide 100% of the water supply in the lagoon.  The pool water flows continuously, and it takes only 24 hours to complete replacement. Warm, clean, and rich in sulfur, the water stays at 38-40°C (100 – 104°F) year-round.
A walking path around the pool lets you safely watch the boiling, gushing springs of water from the hot springs.
The Secret Lagoon has modern changing rooms. A bistro sells snacks, cold sandwiches and drinks. You can also purchase drinks to enjoy in the lagoon itself.

A Zipline ride is a great adventure for all those who love the thrill of doing something challenging but at the same time very safe. 
The tour includes a hike through breathtaking river canyon and four Zipline rides. The scenery below you is breathtaking, and you will have a bird’s-eye view of it as you whiz down the Zipline.
Our Zipline course is situated near Vik, a South Iceland village surrounded by beautiful hills and valleys. After we meet you at our base, we will first drive for 5 minutes, then hike for another 5 minutes at a moderate pace to reach the take-off platform for the first Zip, Little Rush. We will give you detailed safety instructions and make sure you are comfortable with what to do during the Zipline. The next thing you know, you are zipping above the canyon, enjoying an exciting and amazing view of the area.
Our second Zipline, The Gentle Giant, is just around the corner. This is our longest ride; our guests often think this is the prettiest one. Then we will take a short hike (about 10 minutes) through the amazing rock formation of Grafargil (Grave Canyon) to the next Zipline, the Leap of Faith. Finally, we’ll take the fourth Zipline, the Big Rush. It will take you over a stunning waterfall. To finish off the experience, we will take a short and scenic hike back to our base.

Glide along the smooth surface of Solheimajokull’s Glacier Lagoon during this easy kayaking tour. Bask in the beautiful nature around you as your expert guide leads you around this famous outlet glacier.
Leave the crowds behind and immerse in the beauty of a majestic outlet glacier while on a kayak. Before setting off to glide along the smooth waters of Solheimajokull glacier lagoon, you will meet your professional kayaking guide at the Solheimajokull Base Camp. There, you will be receive  a short safety briefing and get a dry suit and paddle.
The sit-on-top kayaks tare easy to steer, and you need no previous kayaking experience. As you push away from the shore, you will enter the world of an iceberg filled lagoon. The spellbinding glacial landscape and calm waters will make you feel like you are in another world. Your guide will lead you around the glacier. You&#8217;ll paddle between icebergs to admire these natural wonders from a perspective only visible from the water.
After a period of gliding along the still surface of the lagoon, you’ll head back to shore with a lifetime of memories.

Kayaking by Solheimajokull Glacier

&#8220;Glacier Wonders&#8221; is a superb but easy glacier hiking tour from Skaftafell into the magnificent ice-world of Falljokull glacier, a tongue of the mighty Vatnajokull glacier. You will learn how a living glacier moves and why this magical ice-kingdom is always changing.
Meet your certified and experienced glacier guide at Vatnajokull National Park. Then the excitement really begins!
Start with a drive towards Falljokull glacier through stunningly spectacular scenery. Watch the soft vegetation around Skaftafell give way to the impressive mountain landscapes. The drive takes around 15 minutes; you’ll then hike for about 30 minutes up to Falljokull.  You&#8217;ll see stunning mountain glacier views with every step. Hvannadalshnukur, Iceland’s highest peak will tower high above you.
At Falljokull, you&#8217;ll strap on ice crampons for the magic moment – setting foot on the glacier! Depending on the conditions, you’ll spend about 1,5 hours on the glacier. Your guide will explain this unbelievably vibrant and living world to you. You will see incredible crevasses wending their way, twisting and turning through the glacier. These labyrinths are always forming, moving and changing in tune with the dance of nature. See the great moulins, which descend deep into the glacier, and stunning ice falls as ancient ice drops hundreds of meters from the mountain top. A glacier is never static, its gradual movement makes a glacier one of the most magnificent natural forces in the world.

Glacier Wonders – Glacier Hike in Skaftafell

Experience the wonderful volcanic southern coastline of Iceland with its thundering waterfalls, endless black sand beaches and glacier coated volcanoes, accompanied by an audio guide available in 10 different languages! 
Your tour starts with a drive through lava fields by the actively volcanic Hengill mountain and then down to the rich coastal farmland. On clear days you can see Hekla Volcano. In the distance, the glacier capped Eyjafjallajökull Volcano will rise majestically above the coastal mountains at its base. Just off the coastline are the volcanic Westman Islands, an archipelago of around 15 small islands. 
Your first stop is at Reynisfjara black sand beach, which is every photographer’s dream. The powerful Atlantic waves crashing on the black sands, the jagged basalt sea stacks, and the huge basalt-column cave are all sights to take your breath away. 
After being amazed by the power of the sea you will head on to Vík. The village of Vík is the southernmost village in Iceland. Despite its small size (291 inhabitants), Vík is the largest settlement for 70 km (44 miles)! 
On your way back to Reykjavík, you’ll stop by the powerful Skógafoss Waterfall where a short walk up a flight of steps takes you to one of Iceland’s most scenic views that includes glaciers, volcanoes and black sandy beaches. The last stop of your day is a visit to the ribbon-like Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, famous for the hidden pathway behind and around it.

Take a walk in one of Iceland’s most unique gardens: a beautiful collection of stones and minerals that show how Iceland was created. 
Geologically speaking, the East Fjords are one of the oldest areas in Iceland and have the most diverse rock variety. A local East Icelander, Petra Sveinsdottir, created this magnificent exhibit of rocks and minerals over a lifetime. She designed a display in her house and garden. More than 90% of the minerals and semi-precious stones come from the surrounding Stodvarfjordur area.
Petra began building her mineral collection when she and her husband bought their house in 1946. Petra had a special talent when it came to locating a beautiful stone. Local people tell stories about how Petra had the ability to find a magnificent mineral in a place where they just had been walking minutes before. Petra compared mineral collecting to hunting or fishing.
The museum is not only an interesting geological exhibit, it also will give you an insight into the local life of East Iceland through one of the area’s most unique residents.

Ice Cave & Glacier Expedition (departs from Golden Circle area)

Enter one of Iceland’s best ice caves in years and discover a unique crystal blue wonderland.
You&#8217;ll get up close and personal to incredible shades of icy blue while you walk into the depths of the mighty Vatnajökull glacier.
These astonishing blue glacial ice caves lie deep inside of glaciers. They form from the power of meltwater as it travels through a glacier&#8217;s crevasse channels. When the cold season comes, the caves that the water left behind freeze completely so that they become stable and safe to visit.
We pick you up at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon in a SuperJeep and drive to the edge of the glacier where we gear up and get ready for the caving. After a short hike (approx. 20-30 minutes), we&#8217;ll arrive at the magnificent ice cave where you will have time to explore its wonders at your own pace.
After we have explored the cave, we will start making our way back to the location where you were picked up.

Crystal Ice Cave Tour from the Glacier Lagoon

Dive into this 2-hour exploration of Iceland’s black sand landscape in the south. You’ll also visit the famous DC3 airplane wreck.
This tour kicks off after you meet your ATV guide at the ATV base near Mýrdalsjökull glacier. You will receive all the necessary gear and a short safety briefing before venturing out  on ATVs to drive on Iceland’s iconic black beaches. Your guide will lead your group to the stunning coastline to witness breathtaking views of the surrounding area. This nature reserve is home to the Laugahraun lava fields, Mount Brennisteinsalda and Blahnjukur volcano, all forming a beautiful and colorful setting for a hike. Landmannalaugar sits in the Fjallabak Reserve in the remote Icelandic highlands. You can find some of the most stunning hiking trails in the country here.
Enjoy a scenic drive through the southern countryside on the way to Landmannalaugar. Your hiking adventure starts from Landmannalaugar&#8217;s main hut. The next four hours will showcase amazing scenery. Your route goes over Laugahraun lava field, through Vondugil canyon, and up multicolored Mt. Brennisteinsalda.
On the way down you’ll walk through the brilliantly green Graenagil. If time allows, your group will summit Blahnukur volcano. Afterwards, you can relax in the hot spring-fed natural pool in Landmannalaugar and enjoy the spectacular surroundings!

Start with a scenic drive along Iceland’s southern coast. Your destination is Vík village, where you will meet your expert glacier hiking guide and board a SuperJeep. You’ll head into what seems like a rugged no man’s land. Enchanting glaciers and mountains surround you.
Your SuperJeep stops near the otherworldly Kötlujökull glacier. It’s time to put on your crampons and helmet and take a short walk to the opening of the ice cave. Depending on conditions, you might need to climb a few steps on ladders to the ice cave entrance. The climb is not difficult for anyone in reasonable physical shape.
Beautiful layers of different colored ice and volcanic ash unfold from the ice, painting impressive stripes in the glacier. Your guide will tell you all about the history of the glacier, the ice cave and the area.
When you are back out from the glacier, your group will walk around and see if any smaller ice caves are accessible. The drive back to Vík is an amazing one. During wintertime, the sun sets behind the mountains, creating a magical wintery view.
On the way from/to Reykjavík, your tour will visit the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall. When the length of the daylight allows it (1 February – 15 November), you’ll also visit the picture-perfect Skógafoss waterfall.

From Gullfoss waterfall a glorious canyon descends down and creates the ideal rafting conditions. The Hvita river originates from Langjokull glacier and has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. On this beautiful rafting journey, you’ll raft down 7 kilometers (4.3 miles). You&#8217;ll enjoy a view you can only encounter while floating downstream.
You don&#8217;t need to worry about the cold water. We provide a wetsuit to make the experience enjoyable, as well as a lifejacket to keep you afloat. You need no previous rafting experience. In fact, this rafting trip is for everyone who fancies a little adventure.
If you want, you can take a refreshing leap from the Bruarhlod cliffs into the glacial waters of the canyon &#8211; it&#8217;s a fitting end to an incredible river rafting adventure.
Rafting the river takes between 60 and 90 minutes. Afterwards, you have time to relax in the Drumbo Base&#8217;s sauna and hot tubs. We recommend adding a delicious BBQ lamb or hamburger dinner to your booking for you to enjoy at the base restaurant. (We can add this at booking time).

River Fun Rafting with Reykjavik transfers

There is something so otherworldly about Snæfellsnes that Icelanders often associate it with spiritual experiences and folk tales. This tour provides spectacular views of this unique area where geological wonders border on the magical.
The Snæfellsnes peninsula in the West of Iceland is almost like a miniature version of the entire island. The area has beautiful samples of most of the natural landscapes that make Iceland so famous. Sky Lagoon Pass

The Reykjanes Geopark is located on a peninsula divided between two continents. This unique placement of the Reykjanes Peninsula on the drift zone between the North American and the Eurasian continental plates makes it a true Volcanic Wonder.
As your group drives along the Reykjanes peninsula, you are constantly in the presence of the roaring Atlantic Ocean, endless lava fields, and volcanic craters. An alien landscape, decorated by windblown palagonite and petrified troll formations.
Your adventure starts by the youngest volcano in Iceland, Fagradalsfjall Volcano, and the surrounding lava fields. The hike up to the view point takes about 40 minutes, where you will be able to explore the devastating yet beautiful aftermath of this recent volcanic eruption. 
From 2021 there have been three eruptions on the peninsula, the most recent one ended on 6th of August 2023.
After the volcano hike, your tour stops by the bridge between continents, where you can walk between the continental plates that divide the peninsula. This stop underlines this unique placement directly on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
On your way back to Reykjavik,  you&#8217;ll stop by the largest mud pool in Iceland, Gunnuhver. You can feel the ground shake from the enormous power released from the boiling water and steam released.

Amazing Family Adventure

Vok Baths is on the beautiful Lake Urridavatn in East Iceland. Located only 5-kilometres (3 miles) northwest of Egilsstadir, Vok Baths is an essential stop on any visit to this part of the country.
Vok Baths harnesses the geothermal power of the region to create a unique bathing experience. The floating infinity pools let guests fully immerse themselves in the unspoiled beauty of the area. Additionally, there are two onshore hot pools, an outdoor pool bar, a steam bath,  and a cold tunnel equipped with a mist shower. Vök Geothermal Baths

This best-selling tour of Iceland&#8217;s most famous landmarks includes a visit to Friðheimar greenhouse.  It&#8217;s the classic Golden Circle with a sustainable twist!
The tour starts with a visit to Friðheimar greenhouse where you will learn about the magical methods of managing pests by using biological methods. Also, you will also learn how to grow delicious tomatoes in an eco-friendly way using geothermal heat, which Iceland has in abundance.
After Friðheimar, your group will stop at Geysir geothermal area. The Strokkur geyser shoots a column of water up to 30 meters (98 ft.) into the air every 4-8 minutes in a thrilling display of nature’s forces.
The visit continues with Gullfoss waterfall,  which tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 32 m (105 ft.) deep.
You will also visit the historical and geological wonder that is Þingvellir National Park. Here the American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimeters per year. Þingvellir is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Northern Lights and Stargazing

Join us as we head west on a full day magical mystical tour to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and surroundings.
Countless lunar landscapes and volcanic vistas lie in store as we drive west out of Reykjavík. We&#8217;ll head towards the magnificent Snæfellsjökull glacier. The glacier sits atop the active stratovolcano that took center stage in the Jules Verne sci fi novel, Journey to the Centre of the Earth.
Our first stop will be Ýtri-Tunga farm, which is next to a beautiful beach. Here, huge seal colonies lounge on the beach, and your guide will lead you to a viewing point. (This is a summertime stop; there are no seal colonies here during the winter).
Afterwards, we head to our favorite farm in the peninsula, where an amazing home-cooked meal waits for us.
Next, we&#8217;lll visit Buðarkirkja, which is the historical black church in the hamlet of Buðir. This is one of the few black churches in the country. The builders painted it with pitch in order to protect the wood from the harsh climatic conditions.
The dramatic coast of Arnarstapi is waiting for us next. Powerful waves are constantly eroding the cliffs and leave impressive rock formations behind. Also, we&#8217;ll visit the black sand beach of Djúpalónssandur,  where we can see the remains of a 1948 shipwreck.
Naturally, we will stop to admire Kirkjufell, probably the most-photographed mountain in the country. Surrounded by streams and small waterfalls, it was a filming location for Game of Thrones.
Our last stop will be Bersekjahraun lava fields. Created around 4.000 years ago, the lava fields are extremely thick and decorated with beautiful rock formations.

Snæfellsnes Minibus Tour With Homecooked Meal

Countless Craters Helicopter Tour

Enjoy a soothing bath at Krauma geothermal baths in authentic Icelandic nature near Europe&#8217;s most powerful hot spring.
Krauma geothermal baths is located only 60 minutes’ drive from Reykjavík.
The hot water originates in Europe’s most powerful hot spring, Deildartunguhver, at a temperature of 100°C (212°F). The hot water is cooled to achieve the perfect bathing temperature with cold water from Rauðsgil, which originates from a nearby glacier. The pools are made of natural materials such as volcanic stone and wood, which creates a natural and cosy atmosphere.
Krauma has a total of six baths, five warm and one cold. Krauma also has two saunas, an infrared cell, and a steam bath. To maximize your experience, you can enjoy the relaxation room where you can lie or sit down and relax to soothing music and a crackling fireplace.
No extra chemicals are needed to keep the pools clean, as the water is constantly being replaced because of the rapid natural flow rate of the hot springs.
The changing room has a separate locker for every guest. The room has a spacious dressing table with large mirrors and good lighting.
Our restaurant can seat 70 guests inside and another 70 outside on the terrace. We serve Icelandic cuisine from the freshest local farm produced ingredients.

Krauma Nature Baths

Explore the second largest glacier in Iceland from the inside! 
This journey takes you on a guided tour in a monster truck to the entrance of the Langjökull Ice Cave. The man-made tunnel in Langjökull glacier is the largest of its kind in the world. We’ll explore the tunnels for one hour, stopping at the built-in chapel. Venture deep into the heart of Iceland’s Ice Age not far from Reykjavík!
To get to the man-made Ice tunnel and caves, located high up in a remote area of the glacier, you&#8217;ll ride in a huge specially modified “monster“ truck. Before you know it, you&#8217;ll find yourself standing on top of a vast icecap, ready to descend into the glacier and explore its icy netherworld. Your glacier guide will take you on an amazing journey, deep within the glacier where you can see the stunning blue-hued ice. You&#8217;ll learn about how glaciers are formed and why they are important to Iceland and to the world.

Into the Glacier – Classic Tour (from Húsafell)

See how the locals celebrate, unite and enjoy New Year’s Eve!
New Year’s Eve in Reykjavík is celebrated with fireworks and bonfires, The locals gather around the several bonfires dispersed all over the city, celebrating and singing. Enjoy this great tour which allows you to experience the celebration with the Icelanders. It’s a spectacular sight not to be missed when in Iceland!
We will stop at one of the biggest bonfires in the capital area. The bonfire starts at 20:30 (8:30pm), followed by a preview fireworks display around 21:10 (9:10pm).
After the bonfire we will take a short drive around the city and learn about the Icelandic traditions on New Year’s Eve.
Your tour ends around 22.30 (10:30pm), but make sure you stay awake until around midnight, as that&#8217;s when we Icelanders go out to the streets with our fireworks. You might experience a great display of lights and sparkles high up in the city sky!

Bonfire Tour – Celebrate New Year’s Eve

On this sightseeing tour, we make sure that you land off the beaten track and away from the crowds to witness Iceland’s raw geothermal energy first-hand.
We start with a flight over one of the most active volcanic areas in Iceland, the Hellisheiði plateau. You’ll see moss covered lava fields stretched out to the horizon, interspersed with colourful basalt mountains, steaming hot springs, and the very geothermal power plants that supply Reykjavík with its renewable energy.
The helicopter will land in the Hengill geothermal area, named after the Hengill volcano. You can view first-hand the untouched Icelandic nature. We’ll bring you close to hot springs and boiling mud pots, and you might even see some sheep wandering around the valley in the summer. No matter the season or time of year, this area always has magical, colourful, and beautiful views.
Please note that is not a regular tourist site, there are no safety ropes  and infrastructure – you’ll experience the site just how nature created it. 
On our way back we will make a scenic pass over Reykjavík to give you a unique aerial view of Iceland’s capital.

Geothermal Tour by Helicopter

Experience an adventure like no other on our fun-packed day tour of Iceland’s sensational South Coast &amp; Glacier Lagoon, a magical dreamland of magnificent must-see places! 
You’ll explore two towering waterfalls, soak in the stunning views at the world-famous Glacier Lagoon at Jökulsárlón, and take an unforgettable stroll amongst glittering iceberg fragments on the mesmerizing Diamond Beach.
Those are the star attractions, but there’s so much more to enjoy on this thrilling tour! Starting with a convenient pick-up in the city, sit back and take in the marvelous views as we drive over the Blue Mountains to the fertile farmlands that line Route 1 on the South Coast.
The famous “Ring Road” circles the country, and after a pit stop for coffee and snacks at the little town of Hvolsvöllur, it will lead us directly to Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall with a bonus feature &#8211; you can walk around it if you want. Another spectacular 60-meter waterfall called Skógafoss (the Forest Falls) is nearby. There aren’t any trees left here now &#8211; the early Vikings chopped them all down!
We’ll stop for lunch at the charming coastal village of Vík, the southernmost point in Iceland. You’ll see the towering Reynisdrangar standing offshore and a fairytale church high on a hill overlooking the area.
Jökulsárlón stands right next to the Ring Road, which makes it easy for you to have the unforgettable thrill of seeing this stunning place on our South Coast and Glacier Lagoon tour. Once the icebergs have calved from the glacier’s edge, the frozen blue and white fragments float serenely around the dazzling Glacier Lagoon. Tugged by the tides from one side to another, they’re slowly sculpted into beautiful shapes by the wind.
Wherever you look, you’ll be amazed by the constantly changing scene. During the summer, you can take an optional boat tour around the lagoon for a closer look. Sometimes the bergs topple over with a mighty crash, sending waves around the lagoon! Look for seals, too &#8211; they like to bask in the sun here!
Nearby is the astonishing Diamond Beach. Iceberg fragments lie scattered on a dramatic black sand beach like jewels on a satin cushion, slowly carved into fantastic shapes by fierce winds and the Atlantic waves.
On our return journey to Reykjavík, we’ll also visit Fjallsárlón. It’s a little smaller than the Glacier Lagoon, but it offers a clearer view of the glacier edge, and you might be lucky enough to witness a calving event there!

South Coast and Glacier Lagoon Classic

To top it all off, you’ll board a special glacier truck and head through the highland wilderness to Langjökull Glacier for another Iceland adventure. We recommend you bring either a raincoat or a waterproof coat along if you want to stroll behind it which we of course highly recommend. Skógafoss, another famous Icelandic waterfall is something of a film star, having been used as a backdrop in films such as Thor: The Dark World, Game of Thrones, Eurovision Song Contest: the Story of Fire Saga, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
You will also stop at Reynisfjara black sand beach, with the Reynisdrangar rock formations and columnar basalt. It is one of the most spectacular beaches in Iceland.
