An impressive Northern Lights experience in the realm of Vatnajokull, Europe's largest glacier
Duration: 5 days/4 nights
Discover Reykjavik and Iceland in winter under the dancing Northern Lights.
Visit Iceland's main attractions in a winter setting with comfortable excursions from Reykjavik.
Experience the thrill of snowmobiling across an Arctic glacier and travelling in a specially modified Super Jeep vehicle to visit geothermal geysers, frozen waterfalls and unique volcanic formations. In the evening, the Northern Lights beckon during a guided journey to learn their shimmering secrets. No stop in Iceland is complete without a visit to the famous Blue Lagoon, where spa indulgences offer unearthly relaxation.
What is a Super Jeep / Super Truck? A Super Jeep/Super Truck is originally a standard truck/SUV or van that is modified according to strict regulations in Iceland. It is basically a specially-equipped 4x4 vehicle with very large tires (tall 36-46 inch or 95-120 cm) that is designed to be driven in the demanding Icelandic terrain, both in winter and summer.
The Blue lagoon will be closed from 24.-27.April 2017 due to renovations.
Day 1: Afternoon arrival with the Blue Lagoon
Upon arrival at Keflavik airport, board the non-guided scheduled tour bus for a transfer to the Blue Lagoon where you can bathe in its rich mineral waters (bathing fee included).
If you are bringing any luggage, a special luggage storage facility is available next to the main parking area: the price for each bag is approximately EUR 5/GBP 4/USD 7/CAD 8.
Soothed and relaxed, head to Reykjavik on one of the scheduled transfer buses departing the Blue Lagoon and check in at your hotel.
Those who are arriving with flights that do not match the schedule for the transfer via the Blue Lagoon can use this transfer on their departure day instead.

Discover three of the most outstanding attractions in South of Iceland on a fully-guided 4x4 Super Truck excursion.
