Day 1: Arrival

Welcome to Iceland

If you arrive early, you might have time for a half-day or evening excursion, so study our tour selection and book ahead. Check in at your hotel in Reykjavik City and get comfortable for your three-night stay in Iceland.

Day 2: A journey into the glacier

Explore the exciting ice tunnel in Langjokull Glacier

Today's adventure starts with a drive through Borgarfjordur to the edge of Langjokull glacier. During the drive you'll get the chance to visit Hraunfossar waterfalls, a series of waterfalls formed by rivulets streaming over a distance of about 900 metres out of a lava field.
When you reach Langjokull glacier, it's time to board an 8-wheel glacier truck that will take you on an adventurous journey to the entrance of the ice tunnel.
During the excursion within the glacier itself you'll see colours of blue you never knew existed, and learn how glaciers hide the secrets of history.
After an approximately 50-minute visit within the glacier, it's time to head back to Reykjavik, but this time the route follows the Kaldidalur highland track, including a stop at UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park, where you'll encounter amazing scenery.

Overnight in Reykjavik.

Day 3: City and Nature Exploring

Enjoy a day of leisure. Explore Reykjavik's many attractions and places of interest — such as Harpa Concert Hall and Solfarid sculpture — relax with a nice cup of coffee at one of the city's excellent coffee houses, or go shopping in Kringlan shopping centre.

You can also choose an optional tour into the countryside, viewing the spectacular nature, waterfalls, and volcanoes that are so close to the capital city.

Overnight in Reykjavik.
