Digital Itineraries

Every year Iceland Travel welcomes thousands of travellers who embark on a road trip adventure in Iceland. To further enhance our renowned self-drive tours, we are launching the Iceland Travel self-drive app in the spring of 2017. If you book any one of Iceland Travel’s 38 self-drive packages for this summer, you will receive an internet connected tablet with our new app when you pick up your vehicle. Its easy-to-use interface lets you see your trip mapped out, thousands of points of interests, services, and a GPS road guide that will take you right to your hotel after a day of exploring.

To get started, you simply log in with your Iceland Travel booking number and after a short introduction on general road and travel safety, your personal itinerary will come up. The app gives you detailed information on your accommodation for your entire trip as well as must-see stops along the way. If you’ve opted to include additional days on your tour package, they will also be represented in the app.  For those who want more information on Iceland, there’s a pdf road book available in selected languages right in the app navigation—making sure that you get the trip you want. Welcome to the future of travel!
