Thorsmork Valley and Eyjafjallajokull Volcano Sights

A day dedicated to Thorsmork Natural Reserve

On this classic Iceland day tour for nature's lovers, you will board a Super Jeep and head to Thorsmork Natural Reserve driving across the Icelandic south shore.

First stop at the scenic Seljalandsfoss waterfall and enjoy many photo opportunities by walking directly behind its plummeting stream of water. Enjoy the views and sound, but please be careful since the path can be damp and irregular on the way up to and behind the falls.

Continue to Thorsmork an incredible valley, which is surrounded by glaciers on three sides and is a really popular destination for local and foreign hikers. Cross rivers and rough terrain and admire an ever-changing glacial lagoon. Then take a walk in the area which was most affected by the 2010 eruption that blocked the air traffic across Europe.

After soaking in so many breathtaking panoramas and landscapes, head back to Reykjavik.
