Always dreamed of hiking on a glacier? Well, this is your chance!

Less than two hours drive from Reykjavik is Eyjafjallajokull glacier, and just a little further is the Solheimajokull glacier tongue, which extends down from its mother glacier, Myrdalsjokull, right on top of Katla Volcano.

After putting on the necessary crampons and learning how to use the basic ice equipment, you will take a rather easy walk on the glacier. Discover incredible ice formations, ridges and crevasses. Ice climbing is not included in this tour.

On the way back the group will stop at the picturesque waterfalls of Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss.

Operation of this tour depends on weather conditions on the glacier.

Your Country is beautiful, a wonder to behold and the people we met were amazing.

Thank you so much for all your help with the trips, we saw a Hump Back Whale, the Northern Lights, walked on a Glacier, swam in the Blue Lagoon and much, much more.   In 37 years of holidays, and we have had some spectacular ones, our visit to Iceland has been the best experience to date.

Our trip to Iceland was awesome. The people are very friendly and the beauty and wonders of nature are endless and one of a kind. The tours were all well organized and the guides were very friendly, helpful and informative. There were many highlights: going into a volcano, the geyser, lava caves, hot springs, whale watching, the Blue Lagoon, and many waterfalls. Highly recommend going to Iceland to anyone.
