Walk through Ice and Fire

Combine walking between hot springs and on top of an Icelandic glacier

We start the tour from Reykjavik by heading to the volcano Hengill. There we'll take a 2-3 hours hike in the surrounding geothermal area, dotted by beautiful hot springs and boiling mud pools.

In Reykjadalur valley, you can enjoy a bath in a naturally warm stream, so remember to bring your swimsuit!

Afterwards we drive along the fertile farmlands of south Iceland towards Myrdalsjokull glacier, the fourth largest in Iceland. We will pass through the region, which was affected by the infamous eruption of Spring 2010.

Once we reach the glacier tongue Solheimajokull, we will take a walk on the glacial field between ice sculptures, ridges and deep crevasses.

This tour is subject to road and weather conditions.
