Enjoy a peaceful time at the Blue Lagoon, a unique natural pool of mineral rich geothermal water located in the middle of a lava field in the pure, beautiful Icelandic wilderness.

Please note: If the Blue Lagoon is fully booked on their website, then it is unfortunately fully booked and we are unable to provide extra tickets.

The Blue Lagoon is known for its special properties and its beneficial effects on the skin, and attracts visitors from all over the world in search of health, relaxation and an exotic experience.

In addition to bathing in the lagoon, guests have access to a sauna with a view of the lagoon, a steam-bath with white walls that resemble silica-mud and a cosy steam-bath carved into a lava cave. Guests can also stand beneath a small waterfall for an energizing massage. Of course, guests bathing in the milky waters of the Blue Lagoon have easy access to the famous white silica-mud, an essential part of the spa experience.

For those needing to store their luggage during their time at the Blue Lagoon, a special luggage storage facility is available next to the main parking area: The price for each bag is 3 EUR.

This was truly magical, the scenery was rugged and beautiful. There were six of us on the mini-bus plus our driver. While I do not recall his birth name, we called him Paul. He was really well versed in the culture both from a fishing and farming perspective. We had an opportunity to stop at the small hamlets along the fjord - truly beautiful. The Herring Museum was great and again, Paul provided great insight.

Thanks a lot for all your help!
