Enjoy a peaceful time at the Blue Lagoon, a unique natural pool of mineral rich geothermal water located in the middle of a lava field in the pure, beautiful Icelandic wilderness.
The Blue Lagoon is famous for its special properties and its beneficial effects on the skin. The Blue Lagoon attracts visitors from all over the world in search of health, relaxation, and an exotic experience.
In addition to bathing in the lagoon, you will have access to a sauna with a view of the lagoon, a steam-bath with white walls that resemble silica-mud and a cosy steam-bath carved into a lava cave. You can also stand beneath a small waterfall for an energising massage. Of course, bathing in the milky waters means you&#8217;ll have easy access to the famous white silica-mud, an essential part of the spa experience.
If you need to store your luggage during their time at the lagoon, a special luggage storage facility is available next to the main parking area. There is a modest fee to store the luggage.
Please note entrance to the Blue Lagoon must be booked in advance. You can choose between two bathing experiences: Comfort and Premium.

The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is truly a feast for the senses. After having enjoyed everything the Blue Lagoon has to offer, you can either go onwards to Reykjavík or on to Keflavík airport. Your journey uses carbon neutral bus transfers, a great way to show your commitment to the environment.
You can safely store your flight luggage at the Blue Lagoon while you are bathing (approximately ÍSK1000 per bag).

Enjoy a soothing bath at Krauma geothermal baths in authentic Icelandic nature near Europe&#8217;s most powerful hot spring.
Krauma geothermal baths is located only 60 minutes’ drive from Reykjavík.
The hot water originates in Europe’s most powerful hot spring, Deildartunguhver, at a temperature of 100°C (212°F). The hot water is cooled to achieve the perfect bathing temperature with cold water from Rauðsgil, which originates from a nearby glacier. The pools are made of natural materials such as volcanic stone and wood, which creates a natural and cosy atmosphere.
Krauma has a total of six baths, five warm and one cold. Krauma also has two saunas, an infrared cell, and a steam bath. To maximise your experience, you can enjoy the relaxation room where you can lie or sit down and relax to soothing music and a crackling fireplace.
No extra chemicals are needed to keep the pools clean, as the water is constantly being replaced because of the rapid natural flow rate of the hot springs.
The changing room has a separate locker for every guest. The room has a spacious dressing table with large mirrors and good lighting.
The restaurant can seat 70 guests inside and another 70 outside on the terrace. Krauma Restaurant serves Icelandic cuisine from the freshest local farm produced ingredients.
