During the experience you will taste at least six different beers and ales, each paired with traditional Icelandic cuisine, served “Tapas” style. You will taste the freshest fish caught from the pier outside the restaurant. Also on the menu is the Icelandic lamb which no one should miss out on. Icelandic sheep are bred wild and free in the mountains and amongst the glaciers, making the meat tender and unusually tasty.
Your host will introduce each beer and course combo while telling you stories about how the locals have managed to survive on this challenging island so far up throughout the ages. This event is informal and your host will happily discuss anything under the arctic sun, take questions and give you tips on traveling in Iceland.
