If you’re after some insider‘s knowledge of Reykjavik and Iceland, and enjoy local craft beers and food, this is the perfect activity for you. This popular tour takes place at Bryggjan Brugghus, located at Reykjavik Old Harbour, and is an ideal way to end your day of exploring Iceland’s nature, not to mention for those eager to learn more about the culture and enjoy traditional cuisine

During the experience you will taste at least six different beers and ales, each paired with traditional Icelandic cuisine, served “Tapas” style. You will taste the freshest fish caught from the pier outside the restaurant. Also on the menu is the Icelandic lamb which no one should miss out on. Icelandic sheep are bred wild and free in the mountains and amongst the glaciers, making the meat tender and unusually tasty.

Your host will introduce each beer and course combo while telling you stories about how the locals have managed to survive on this challenging island so far up throughout the ages. This event is informal and your host will happily discuss anything under the arctic sun, take questions and give you tips on traveling in Iceland.

Cheers To Iceland is the ideal introduction to Reykjavik’s creative, yet traditional food and beer culture.
