Learn about Iceland’s unique culinary culture and New Nordic cuisine using fresh, Icelandic ingredients in this great hands-on Cook and Dine – Exclusive cooking class.
You are invited to a fun and creative hands-on cooking experience, with fresh local ingredients under the supervision of skilled instructors. Icelandic fish and lamb will take center stage as you learn to cook Scandinavian style.
A novice in the kitchen? Well, our cooking workshops do not require any prior culinary experience, although we pride ourselves on catering for all levels, gourmet cooks and novices alike.
At Salt Eldhus, the class sizes are small, making the environment intimate and inviting. All participants will work together to create each dish, usually 3 courses, ensuring success when the dishes are recreated at home. At the end of the class you will be rewarded with a delicious meal that you have prepared accompanied by a glass of well-earned wine.
Included is a recipe folder as a gift and reminder of your time spent at Salt Eldhus.
Teaching will be in English unless otherwise stated.
An apron is provided for all participants.
Minimum 2 participants needed for the class to run.
Meeting location: Thorunnartun 2, 105 Reykjavik.
