DAY 2: Golden Circle daytour and Fontana Natural Steam Baths

Gullfoss waterfall – Geysir hot springs – Fontana Steam baths – Thingvellir

Breakfast at your hotel.  This amazing day tour takes you around the Golden Circle.  Visit three famous highlights — Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir geothermal area and Thingvellir National Park.  Then head to the  Fontana Geothermal Baths.   The original sauna was built in the 1920s and was little more than a shack with two compartments, built above the hot spring that bubbles and gurgles below the ground. Today, it’s been renovated to include modern changing rooms. pools, hot tubs and steam baths. It’s a relaxing and fun place for people of all ages. Before returning to Reykjavik, you will be offered some traditional sweet Icelandic rye bread, which is slow-baked in the natural hot springs.

DAY 3: Reykjavík

Reykjavik Welcome card – Museums, Family park and Farm Animal Zoo

Your The Reykjavik City Card gives you free entry to a great selection of museums and galleries and  all swimming pools in Reykjavik.  You’ll also get free travel by bus within the Reykjavik Capital Area. In addition,  you can take a  free ferry trip to Videy Island with its walking trails and historical buildings.  A popular place for families to visit is the popular Reykjavik Farm Animal Zoo, where children can meet and pet animals like sheep, horses, cattle, pigs and goats.  (Included in the Welcome Card)

DAY 4: Departure

Transfer to the airport on your own.  We would be happy to book a transfer for you.  We recommend you depart your hotel no later than three hours before your flight.  Should you wish to extend your stay, we would be happy to book additional nights and tours for you.
