The seawater in the baths is warm and comfortable, and the mineral-rich water will caress your skin.
Geosea is not only a world-class geothermal bathing mecca — it is an experience that taps into the historical roots of a small fishing town in North Iceland that has harnessed the earth&#8217;s geothermal waters for centuries.
In the baths you can purchase beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. You can also purchase refreshments in the modern yet welcoming dining area or on the terrace. The menu includes soups of the day, freshly baked bread and rolls with vegetables or ham &amp; cheese.

In a volcanic setting among steaming hills, you can enjoy the ultimate natural outdoor spa experience at the Earth Lagoon Mývatn.
Drawing on a centuries-old tradition, Earth Lagoon Mývatn offers bathers a completely natural experience that begins with a relaxing dip amidst clouds of steam rising up from a fissure deep in the Earth&#8217;s surface, and ends with a luxurious swim in a pool of azure geothermal water drawn from depths of up to 2.500 metres (8,200 feet).
The blue water contains a unique mixture of minerals, silicates and micro-organisms that are soothing for the skin. The temperature is maintained at a comfortable 36-40°C (97-104°F) in the main bathing area. You can also enjoy hot tubs and steam baths.  No matter the weather, you&#8217;ll enjoy a relaxing dip amidst clouds of steam and a luxurious swim in a pool of geothermal water.
Several steam baths offer a relaxing experience. Steam flows directly through the floor, 100% natural &amp; heated by geothermal energy. It is a gift from mother nature and it depends on the time of the month how warm it is. With large windows overlooking Mývatn’s otherworldly landscape, the baths offer a tranquil space to stretch, breathe, and fully unwind. You can also purchase and enjoy beverages at a swim-up bar, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
At Café Kvika, guests can enjoy a relaxing light lunch, a warm drink, or a simple coffee break between lagoon visits. The menu is designed with fresh, locally inspired ingredients and a laid-back atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a soak.

Earth Lagoon Mývatn

Enjoy a relaxing experience in geothermal pools surrounded by trees and a beautiful fjord.
The Forest Lagoon (Skógarböð) is a geothermal spa located in Vaðlaskógur forest, just a few minutes&#8217; car drive from Akureyri. Icelanders call this beautiful town the &#8220;Capital of the North.&#8221;  It takes just 45 minutes to fly here from Reykjavík, or about a five-hour drive.  With views overlooking one of Iceland&#8217;s longest fjords, Eyjafjörður, the spa&#8217;s unique location surrounded by birch and pine trees truly sets it apart.
The Forest Lagoon’s 1.300 square-metre (13,993 sq ft) complex includes the Forest Bistro, two pools with two swim-up bars, a cold tub and a Finnish dry sauna. Next to the sauna is a cold pool, and it is wonderful to enjoy the health benefits that combining all these experiences can bring.  The cold pool temperature is 11°C (52°F).
The pools use all-natural geothermal water from the mountain behind the Vaðlaheiði forest. The hot spring water was discovered during a tunnel project. The spring was the inspiration for creating this beautiful forest retreat.
A lovely part of the experience at the Forest Lagoon is dining at Forest Bistro. If you enjoy quality food in an exotic environment, the wood-cladded bistro area is something you will not want to miss.

The Forest Lagoon (Skógarböð)

Vök Baths and the floating infinity pools let you fully immerse yourself in the area&#8217;s unspoiled beauty.
Vök Baths is on the beautiful Lake Urriðavatn in East Iceland. Located only 5-kilometres (3 miles) northwest of Egilsstaðir, Vök Baths is an essential stop on any visit to this part of the country.
Vök Baths harnesses the geothermal power of the region to create a unique bathing experience. The floating infinity pools let you fully immerse yourself in the unspoiled beauty of the area. Additionally, there are two onshore hot pools, an outdoor pool bar, a steam bath, and a cold tunnel equipped with a mist shower. There is also a pool bar where you can enjoy a refreshing beverage while soaking in crystal clear waters surrounded by the unique Icelandic nature.
The geothermal water used in the baths is unique in Iceland. It is the only geothermal water certified for drinking in the whole country.
Get a taste for East Iceland and with a meal at the adjoining Vök Bistro. The menu changes depending on what’s seasonally available. Visit the Tea Bar and sample a selection of tisanes (teas) made from locally sourced herbs and brewed with hot spring water from the lake.

Vök Geothermal Baths

Enjoy a unique and authentic experience away from the crowds as you linger in eight natural hot springs surrounded by majestic mountains and black beaches.
Hvammsvík Hot Springs sit right on the Atlantic Ocean, with water levels and temperatures of the natural pools fluctuating with the tides. Temperatures range from ocean temperatures (around 10°C/50°F) to 42°C/108°F.
When you visit Hvammsvík Hot Springs, you will feel both relaxed and invigorated. We promise you a unique experience in eight natural hot springs situated along the shoreline and merging with the ocean.
Area locals built Hvammsvík Hot Springs using rocks from the surroundings, in harmony with the nature and wildlife. An original barrack foundations built by Allied troops during World War II now houses the facilities.
Your admission includes unlimited access to all facilities.  Enjoy eight natural hot springs, the steam bath, and free use of the paddle boards (summertime, weather permitting). Jump into the ocean, go for a hike on the estate&#8217;s walking trails, or simply chill on the black beach.
After a soak in the hot springs, you might enjoy some of the delicious, light dishes at Hvammsvík’s Stormur Bistro and Bar. Stormur’s soups, sandwiches, and cakes are made from nourishing ingredients inspired by the surroundings.
