Travel along Iceland’s south shore of black sand beaches and waterfalls to a stunning glacier for a guided glacier walk. Go hunt for the Northern Lights.
This tour combines two amazing winter highlights in Iceland: a Glacier Walk and a search for the amazing Aurora Borealis.
During the drive towards Myrdalsjokull glacier (Iceland’s fourth largest glacier), we pass two impressive waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skogarfoss and of course the world famous volcano, Eyjafjallajokull.
On Solheimajökull glacier, you will enjoy a safe and easy Glacier Walk on crampons up on to the ice field where you will discover different ice features, water cauldrons, crevasses and waterways.
We then head to a local restaurant for a delicious traditional Icelandic dinner. As we head back to Reykjavik, we will drive into the night looking out for those magical Northern Lights.
