On this tour you will explore the iconic Golden Circle and afterwards unwind as you soak in a genuine Icelandic hot spring!
On our first stop we retrace the footsteps of ancient Vikings by visiting the Thingvellir National Park.
From there we move on to see the world-famous Geysir area, where the ground trembles and steaming hot water spouts spectacularly skywards from Strokkur Geyser every few minutes.
Our next stop is the dramatic Gullfoss Waterfall, a breathtaking sight to behold.
The last stop on our tour and the most relaxing is the Secret Lagoon. The pool’s natural surroundings and steam rising into the air gives the place a magical feeling. Whatever the weather it´s the perfect spot for relaxing in between sightseeing and enjoying Icelandic nature at its very best.
Thingvellir. Located on the northern shores of lake Þingvallavatn, Þingvellir is the national pride of Iceland and our first National Park. It is, for one, a key location in Icelandic history as the oldest existing parliament in the world first assembled there in 930 AD. Þingvellir has for this reason been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Besides being a location of historical significance, Þingvellir is also protected as a national park due to its unique geology and natural features. Almannagja is a canyon formed between two tectonic plates, a visual representation of a continental drift.
Geysir. The home of the original geyser and Iceland´s most iconic natural site. There the ground shakes and superheated water erupts into the sky from the famous Strokkur geyser every few minutes.
Gullfoss Waterfall is a powerful and inspiring place. There the glacier water thunders down 32 meters in three steps and into a narrow canyon.
The Secret Lagoon. Whatever the weather The Secret lagoon is the perfect spot for relaxing in between sightseeing and enjoying Icelandic nature at it’s very best. Around the Secret Lagoon you’ll find several hot spots. A path has been built so you can have a closer look at the bubbling hot springs and a little Geysir even erupts every 5 minutes, showing off for the guests bathing in the hot spring.
