Immerse yourself in warmth at an oceanside geothermal lagoon. The dramatic North Atlantic Ocean stretches to infinity before you. Glowing sunsets and stormy skies are dazzling. Sometimes the dancing northern lights put on a show. The Sky Lagoon gives you that Icelandic feeling of warmth and wonder. Join us for rejuvenation and inspiration at the edge of the world.
Designed to be a visual and spiritual experience, Sky Lagoon invokes your senses. Experience the salty scent of the Atlantic Ocean. Hear the sounds of the wildlife and the ocean tide. Feel the warm geothermal water.  Perhaps the most powerful experience of all is the inspiring view from the lagoon&#8217;s vast infinity edge. You’ll have views of an enchanting  fjord, as well as Keilir mountain, Bessastaðir Presidential residence and, if the day is clear, the iconic Snæfellsjökull glacier mountain.

Sky Lagoon with Return Transfers

Visit the famous Þingvellir National Park, Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss waterfall and enjoy a relaxing and soothing bath at Fontana Thermal Baths.
This amazing carbon neutral day tour takes you around the Golden Circle to see three of Iceland’s highlights: Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir geothermal area and Þingvellir National Park. You’ll then visit Laugarvatn Fontana’s natural steam baths.
The town residents built the original sauna in the 1920s. Back then, it was little more than a shack with two compartments sitting above the hot spring. Today, a modern complex welcomes you to relax. You&#8217;ll enjoy various hot tubs and steam baths naturally heated by Icelandic hot springs.
Upon arrival in Fontana, you will take a short walk with one of the locals to a nearby natural hot spring which is used as a local natural bakery for the village. You will get learn how to bake a loaf of bread in a hot spring. Next, you&#8217;ll see the person dig up a loaf of traditional sweet Icelandic rye bread, which has been slowly baking. Enjoy a taste of the warm rye bread with sweet butter and smoked trout before dipping into the Fontana hot tubs and natural steam baths.
Important: This tour is temporarily discontinued; Fontana&#8217;s bathing area is closed during Winter 2025-2026 due to renovation.

Golden Circle and Fontana Wellness

Explore the home of the Icelandic Sagas, see stunning waterfalls, and relax in the soothing waters of the Húsafell Canyon Baths.
Start with a scenic drive past Mount Esja and then through the tunnel deep under Hvalfjörður to West Iceland. Drive deep inland towards Glanni. This picturesque waterfall cascades down multiple tiers across ancient lava fields. You&#8217;ll also have a breathtaking view of the three Grábrók volcanic craters.
Next is Deildartunguhver, renowned as the most powerful hot springs in Europe. Then you&#8217;ll visit a family-run Icelandic horse farm that can trace its history in West Iceland back for more than a century. Home to more than sixty purebred Icelandic horses, it’s one of the oldest horse breeding farms in the country, and you’re invited to spend time with these wonderful animals.  And there’s an extra treat when you visit Sturlureykir &#8211; freshly baked hot spring bread” served with a hot chocolate or a coffee!
Just a short distance away is Snorralaug, a hot spring pool that has been frequented by locals since the 12th century. Today, the pool is a protected archaeological site.  While you&#8217;re here, be sure to capture some photos of the beautiful old timber church, which dates back to the 19th century. Take a peek inside and you&#8217;ll even spot a viewing glass that provides a glimpse into a medieval smithy cistern.
Next, you will see the great Hraunfossar, a stunning series of waterfalls formed by several rivers running across the Hallmundarhraun lava field, created a thousand years ago by a volcano erupting under the nearby Langjökull glacier.
Stop in Húsafell, a magical place of woodlands and waterfalls set between the two glaciers. Here, you&#8217;ll be transferred to a special 4WD vehicle for a unique journey along rugged mountain passages. Stop to see Langifoss, a spectacular two-tiered waterfall that plunges through a steep ravine into the depths of Deildargil canyon.
The highlight of your tour comes next – an authentic Icelandic hot pool experience in the splendid setting of Hringsgil canyon. Enjoy a serene soak in a hot spring with the enchanting landscapes all around you. This spellbinding place has three geothermally heated pools of varying temperatures (30-41°C or 86-105°F), a cold-water pot and a cooling waterfall, all blending seamlessly into the natural environment.
