COME AND FEEL THE HEAT!

The Icelandic Lava Show is an exciting and educational show where a typical Icelandic volcano eruption is recreated. This is the only show in the world where you can get up close and personal to a real lava flow while staying in a safe environment. You will be so close to the lava that you can actually feel the heat from it!

Have you heard of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano that famously erupted in 2010 and caused major mayhem across Europe and the North Atlantic Ocean? Or the dangerous Katla volcano that violently erupted 100 years ago? At the Icelandic Lava Show you will get to see and experience how a glacier-covered volcano just like Eyjafjallajokull and Katla erupt. When molten lava is poured over ice, an epic battle between fire and ice emerges in the showroom.

This is something that most people have never experienced before. So unique! Come see the flowing lava, hear it sizzle and feel the intense heat from it all!

The Icelandic Lava Show is located in Vik, a small village surrounded by volcanoes, glaciers and black sand beaches. The show is a perfect stop for anyone traveling along the south coast.
