From Gullfoss waterfall a glorious canyon descends down and creates the ideal rafting conditions. The Hvítá river originates from Langjökull glacier and has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. On this beautiful rafting journey, you’ll raft down 7 kilometres (4.3 miles). You’ll enjoy a view you can only encounter while floating downstream.
You don’t need to worry about the cold water. We provide a wetsuit to make the experience enjoyable, as well as a lifejacket to keep you afloat. You need no previous rafting experience. In fact, this rafting trip is for everyone who fancies a little adventure.
If you want, you can take a refreshing leap from the Brúarhlöð cliffs into the glacial waters of the canyon – it’s a fitting end to an incredible river rafting adventure.
Rafting the river takes between 60 and 90 minutes. Afterwards, you have time to relax in the Drumbó Base’s sauna and hot tubs. We recommend adding a delicious BBQ lamb or hamburger dinner to your booking for you to enjoy at the base restaurant. (We can add this at booking time).

Sail among floating icebergs on the majestic Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon. This adventure allows you to connect with the Icelandic nature in a way you have never experienced before.
Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon is one of the most astonishing natural wonders found in Iceland. Although slightly smaller than the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, it is just as impressive. It is a hidden gem!
The powerful Icelandic natural forces such as Vatnajökull glacier have sculptured the surrounding area throughout the centuries. The floating icebergs create a dazzling show all unique in colour, shape and size. There are perfect photo opportunities wherever you look.
After you suit up in the safety gear, an experienced guide will meet you and lead you on a short walk through mossy otherworldly like landscape to the lagoon and your boat. Take off on a 45-minute tour. The boat will circle icebergs of all shapes and sizes. Every so often an iceberg turns or flips over, creating a spectacle. You can even grab the opportunity to taste the ancient ice. Occasionally, huge icebergs will break off Vatnajökull glacier’s edge, falling dramatically into the lagoon before drifting away quietly away.
Your guide will make sure that you receive personal and professional service, including a good insight into the history and the nature of the area, the glaciers and the icebergs.

Zodiac Boat Tour on Fjallsárlón Ice Lagoon

Imagine viewing whales and puffins in wild nature. Enjoy a thrilling RIB speedboat trip from the famous whale watching town Húsavík in the north of Iceland.
With our RIB speedboats we can offer you more area to cover in search for whales, the gentle giants of the sea. A RIB boat is faster than the wind, so it is more likely for us to find the big whales. Normally you do not have to leave Skjálfandi Bay to see whales, but this tour focuses on finding the bigger ones further out. Nothing is guaranteed, but your chances to encounter some of the world&#8217;s biggest animals increases.
After you put on warm safety overall and a life jacket, step aboard a modern RIB speedboat and head out to the beautiful surroundings of Skjalfandi Bay. Your specialised wildlife guide will demonstrate the safety on board and give you live commentary on the sights encountered throughout the tour.
Your first visit is Puffin Island during the nesting period (April 15th – August 15th approximately) to observe thousands of colourful puffins, often called the &#8220;Clowns of the Ocean.&#8221;
After a short pit stop by the island, your journey continues into the deeper waters of Skjálfandi Bay to look  for whales. Watching whales in a respectful way in their wild natural environment from a RIB speedboat is a unique experience.

Glide along the smooth surface of Sólheimajökull’s Glacier Lagoon during this easy kayaking tour. Bask in the beautiful nature around you as your expert guide leads you around this famous outlet glacier.
Leave the crowds behind and immerse in the beauty of a majestic outlet glacier while on a kayak. Before setting off to glide along the smooth waters of Sólheimajökull glacier lagoon, you will meet your professional kayaking guide at the Sólheimajökull Base Camp. There, you will be receive  a short safety briefing and get a dry suit and paddle.
The sit-on-top kayaks are easy to steer, and you need no previous kayaking experience. As you push away from the shore, you will enter the world of an iceberg filled lagoon. The spellbinding glacial landscape and calm waters will make you feel like you are in another world. Your guide will lead you around the glacier. You&#8217;ll paddle between icebergs to admire these natural wonders from a perspective only visible from the water.
After a period of gliding along the still surface of the lagoon, you’ll head back to shore with a lifetime of memories.
