Day 1 - Arrival

Arrival in Iceland. On your own transfer to your hotel in Reykjavik. You will be welcomed to your hotel with some sparkling wine to celebrate your arrival.

Reykjavik is an ideal city for a cozy yet stylish Scandinavian getaway. The numerous art galleries and museums, as well as superb restaurants and cafés, are perfect for discovering the city’s unique culture and cuisine.

If you arrive early in the day, there are abundant choices of optional tours available, and it is easy to visit some of the well-known natural attractions such as glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls and more. Reykjavik is a wonderful city to explore, especially the Old Town area with its charming buildings and intriguing museums. An interesting and fun activity for romantic getaways is to take part in a Cook and Dine Cooking Workshop where you can learn how to prepare delicious Nordic cuisine together.

This evening you will be picked up by your private guide at your hotel. Together with your guide, go out to the countryside to hunt for the magical Northern Lights. Your guide will choose the best possible location for the night to maximize your chances of seeing the lights. While on the tour, enjoy some sparkling wine with the person you love.

Day 2 – The Blue Lagoon

In the afternoon, join a non-guided coach transfer to the wonders of Reykjanes Peninsula. The area is defined by its large lava fields, volcanic activity, numerous hot springs, geothermal energy and rugged landscape. It also holds one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland, the world famous Blue Lagoon, where you are heading next.

The Blue Lagoon is a geothermal lake set amid a lava field and is perfect for a romantic interlude. The Premium Experience makes it even more enjoyable. The Premium Package includes the use of a robe and towel while at the Blue Lagoon. You´ll also receive comfortable slippers that you can take home as a useful souvenir.

While relaxing in the Blue Lagoon, enjoy a drink at the Blue Lagoon bar and experience the unique silica mud mask and algae mask skin care treatments. Your experience also includes a pre-booked table at the Blue Lagoon‘s intriguingly designed LAVA restaurant, along with a sparkling wine aperitif. We offer relaxing sightseeing or fun outdoor adventures that you can enjoy together. Some areas you might want to explore on a day tour include the Golden Circle region, Snaefellsnes Peninsula or the South Shore. Try out activities together such as horseback riding, whale watching, food walk or buggy tour.
