Prepare for an exciting and fun snowmobile tour on top of the Mýrdalsjökull Ice Cap!
This snowmobile tour gives you the opportunity to go up on the top of a glacier. The Mýrdalsjökull glacier is Iceland&#8217;s fourth largest glacier and covers the volcano Katla. To get up to the base of the glacier, your guides will first take you up the mountain in a unique glacier truck (the journey to the base of the glacier is about one hour each way).
Once you reach the glacier location, you&#8217;ll get on your snowmobile and join your guide for a ride up the ice cap. You’ll certainly enjoy the glacier landscapes and the views over South Iceland. Your expert guides will provide everything you need for snowmobiling, and they will teach you how to handle the snowmobile to enjoy this adventure in a fun but safe way. This tour is ideal for first-time snowmobilers.
Note: Duration of the tour is 3 hours, including 1-hour snowmobile ride.

Simply meet us across from Gullfoss Café. Then board a specially outfitted Super Truck for a drive through the rugged, Mars-like landscape of Iceland. This trip through the highlands is an adventure of its own, so please make sure to enjoy the unique experience. Your view out of the window of a vast Arctic desert wilderness and mountain ranges is a rare sight for many travelers.
Once we arrive at our glacier hut, you will receive the appropriate snowmobile gear. Our friendly and fun-loving guides will give you instructions on how to operate the snowmobiles and go over the safety procedures before you ride off into the wondrous winter wonderland.

If you want to experience Iceland’s most popular locations in the comfort of a small group, this is the way to do it!
Your first stop is Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of Iceland’s first parliament (founded: 930). Þingvellir is Iceland’s most significant historical site.
Þingvellir is also the meeting place for the American and Eurasian tectonic plates. You can see the big gap where they are slowly separating from each other.
From Þingvellir, your SuperJeep heads inland toward the highly active Geysir hot spring area with its boiling mud pits and spouting hot springs. Here, the Strokkur geyser erupts regularly every ten minutes. Enjoy a walk along footpaths and admire the unusual sounds, sights, and smells of this geothermal wonder.
Continue on to Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls. Located on Hvítá river, this glacier-fed waterfall plummets 32 meters (105 feet) in two stages into a rugged canyon. And while you’re there, keep your fingers crossed. If it’s a sunny day, you might be greeted by a rainbow!
To top it all off, you’ll board a special glacier truck and head through the highland wilderness to Langjökull Glacier for another Iceland adventure. The snowmobiles will be waiting for your group to dash across snowfields on a guided expedition. Enjoy the adventure and the views of mountain peaks around the icy realm of Langjökull.
