Drive along the beautiful south shore of Iceland to the extraordinary glacial lagoon, Jokulsarlon.
On the way we will pass charming villages in the south, Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, as well as Skaftafell National Park, a green oasis at the feet of Europe’s largest glacier, Vatnajokull.
Once you reach Jokulsarlon, you can add a stunning boat tour (not included in the price) between floating icebergs and other large blocks of ice. These originate from the glacier Vatnajokull, which plunges into the still cold waters of the lagoon, and slowly sail towards the ocean.
Return to Reykjavik in the late evening.
This tour is by default guided in English.
More languages are available as follows:
- German: Tuesdays & Sundays (1 March – 31 Oct)
