A Zipline ride is a great adventure for all those who love the thrill of doing something challenging but at the same time very safe. 
The tour includes a hike through breathtaking river canyon and four Zipline rides. The scenery below you is breathtaking, and you will have a bird’s-eye view of it as you whiz down the Zipline.
Our Zipline course is situated near Vik, a South Iceland village surrounded by beautiful hills and valleys. After we meet you at our base, we will first drive for 5 minutes, then hike for another 5 minutes at a moderate pace to reach the take-off platform for the first Zip, Little Rush. We will give you detailed safety instructions and make sure you are comfortable with what to do during the Zipline. The next thing you know, you are zipping above the canyon, enjoying an exciting and amazing view of the area.
Our second Zipline, The Gentle Giant, is just around the corner. This is our longest ride; our guests often think this is the prettiest one. Then we will take a short hike (about 10 minutes) through the amazing rock formation of Grafargil (Grave Canyon) to the next Zipline, the Leap of Faith. Finally, we’ll take the fourth Zipline, the Big Rush. It will take you over a stunning waterfall. To finish off the experience, we will take a short and scenic hike back to our base.

Zipline Adventure in Vik

Day Tours

Dive into this 2-hour exploration of Iceland’s black sand landscape in the south. You’ll also visit the famous DC3 airplane wreck.
This tour kicks off after you meet your ATV guide at the ATV base near Mýrdalsjökull glacier. You will receive all the necessary gear and a short safety briefing before venturing out  on ATVs to drive on Iceland’s iconic black beaches. Your guide will lead your group to the stunning coastline to witness breathtaking views of the surrounding area. You’ll marvel at the views of Dyrhólaey, a peninsula that is the southernmost tip of the country, and the marvelous Mýrdalsjökull glacier in the distance.
After leaving the beach, your group will head to the famous Sólheimasandur plane wreck. This relic has been resting in the sand since 1973. After this, you will drive to the Jökulsá river and up the foot of the mountain. This action-packed tour ends at the base.

Black Sand Beach ATV Tour

Prepare for an exciting and fun snowmobile tour on top of the Mýrdalsjökull Ice Cap!
This snowmobile tour gives you the opportunity to go up on the top of a glacier. The Mýrdalsjökull glacier is Iceland&#8217;s fourth largest glacier and covers the volcano Katla. To get up to the base of the glacier, your guides will first take you up the mountain in a unique glacier truck (the journey to the base of the glacier is about one hour each way).
Once you reach the glacier location, you&#8217;ll get on your snowmobile and join your guide for a ride up the ice cap. You’ll certainly enjoy the glacier landscapes and the views over South Iceland. Your expert guides will provide everything you need for snowmobiling, and they will teach you how to handle the snowmobile to enjoy this adventure in a fun but safe way. This tour is ideal for first-time snowmobilers.
Note: Duration of the tour is 3 hours, including 1-hour snowmobile ride.
